We loved this house. It is huge with plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable and have their own space. The ping pong table and other games kept the teenagers entertained. The house is so close to everything. We walked everywhere. Shopping, restaurants, bars, winery and the salt cave are just a short walk away. We would definitely stay again.entertained.

We just had an absolute ton of fun at this house with 3 generations of family. Perfect location.

We stayed at this home as our daughter was receiving her Masters degree from St Bonaventure. It was easy to get there. The home was perfect for my mom who needed a first floor bed and bath. This Victorian home was filled with charm and so close to the village. We absolutely loved it and would stay here again.

Great house with ample beds and bathrooms. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of games for the kids. And best part - short walk to the village. Host was very responsive when our plans changed and we extended stay.

There was 9 of us from five states that got together for 4 days. We mainly stayed at the house with one day taking in the village. Made memories. Negative thoughts were safety and cleanliness. The bottom half of house was not really that clean. Previous guests must have had food fight as there was cheese stuck to the ceiling and pull out couch had crumbs galore in the cushions. Should have at least one flashlight for power outages and more garbage bags and paper towels. Bathroom handle down stairs was broken upon arrival, tried to fix not luck. Thank you.

We (9) were there for a wedding - which was held across the street -perfect. The house has expansive indoor and outdoor space -perfect. I received only one complaint -some of the beds were not comfortable - aside from that our stay was -perfect.

We had stayed here a couple years before but didn’t love the cleanliness of the house but decided re rent it due to the amount of people we had and the location. This was a huge mistake. During our first night we were awoken by bats flying in our faces. We contacted the host and he said he didn’t know what to do and disconnected. When we called him back he stated he would give a refund if we found another place. The next day he did not contact us until afternoon and told us we needed to leave and that we would not be getting a refund from him but had to figure it out ourselves. This place is disgusting and filled with bata and the owner is extremely rude and un helpful. I would rate this a negative rating if I could. I do not recommend at all.

We had an awesome visit to the purple palace! Would highly recommend for big groups.

We had a get together for a friends weekend at this place. Lots of sleeping areas for a large group, great outdoor deck and yard area for being outside, and prime location to walk downtown and enjoy Ellicottville!
