Stayed Apr 18, 2026The property and location is exactly what we expected and wanted. It is no frills but doesn't pretend to be anything more. The location was key for us, it is a walk to downtown but if you are not that inclined to walk longer distances it is only two blocks to Main St and the free trolley bus that takes you to Downtown and onwards to St Armands Circle and to Lido beach without the hassles of parking.

Stayed Jan 31, 2026This property is not properly maintained and was sub par for basic standards. The couch is missing an arm on it and uncomfortable. Kitchen chairs are stained. The refrigerator is beat up and leaked a bowl of water everyday that we had to dump. The coffee pot was gross so we bought a new one. The toilet seat was gross so I asked that it be replaced which they did. There were live termites in the bathroom and kitchen. The handles on the pots and pans were loose and one fell off. The windows have a glazing on them so you can’t see out making it very dark inside. We booked this because we needed enough parking for the boat and it was pet friendly. I went to the store and bought a coffee pot, pillows, foam pad for the bed, rugs and a shower curtain to make our month long stay more comfortable. We made the most of it but did not enjoy staying here. We will not return to this property.

Stayed Mar 27, 2026We had some problems with the automatic door lock in back. The bathroom needs some help because the commode is way too close to the shower floor ledge. Overall, it worked for us.

Stayed Jan 4, 2024We had house near Payne Park, Legacy Trail and downtown area. House 2 comfortable bedrooms , living room, kitchen, dining room, small laundry room and bathroom. Parking was available and free. Outside side area had table, umbrella and 4 chairs. This area was half grass covered with dirt making it difficult to sit out or lay in sun.

Stayed Nov 16, 2023We're a 3 piece, touring musical entertainment group. We rented the property for 3 weeks. It was a last minute booking in the off season and the property owner and staff were great and incredibly accommodating! Communication was superb. The owner gave us all the information we needed for the entire stay, including lots of tips on places to see and go when we weren't working. It was exactly as described. It wasn't oversold and the description was honest and forthright. That said, even though this place seems basic, it really had everything we needed; large bedrooms, a great kitchen to cook in and the entire place has a welcoming, open space where everyone can gather and hang out. It's not the Taj Mahal, but it's a lovely little house to spend 3 weeks in! We were close to everything; many restaurants, parks, attractions, the beach. Most everything was walking distance, a free trolly ride or a short drive away. The only down side was the neighborhood. We were walking distance to million dollar condos and expensive restaurants, which was really nice, but the neighborhood was a wee sketch. We never felt unsafe, but the homeless population and economic disparity of the surrounding neighborhoods was on full display. Not the fault of the property in ANY way, but something that I feel should be noted. It would not hinder us from renting again, however. Overall it was a great experience. We had a great time & would rent again!
