This is a well equipped and comfortable home, and we enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and shops in downtown. The weather was quite chilly during our stay in late December. We appreciated having plenty of fire wood for the living room fireplace, but it was difficult to balance the heat overnight between the first floor bedrooms which remained too cold while upstairs bedroom was too hot. This would not be a problem during the warmer seasons. The backyard was very attractive with great amenities for warm weather outdoor activities. There was plenty of off street parking.

Incredible house for a group gathering. Pool and bocci ball court is fantastic and very close walking distance to the main St Helena downtown. Only caveat is it’s on the somewhat busy main road so you’ll hear some road noise from the bedrooms. Bring ear plugs if that bothers you. Otherwise, literally zero other downside to the house. Would highly recommend.

Overall, our stay was great. The house was very good, a bit loud at night due to trucks driving down the main road, but the location was perfect!!! We walked downtown for coffee and for dinner, and it is very close to many wineries. Communication with the owner was excellent! I would stay here again.

This is a beautiful house with a lovely backyard and pool. Unfortunately, it rained the 3 days we were there! The house had everything we needed. It is right on the main road, so there is a good deal of road noise on a constant basis. It didn't really bother anyone in our group, but I could see how that wouldn't be ideal for some. The location is so great, you can walk into town for shopping, restaurants, etc. We would defiantly stay here again.

The home is in a nice St Helena location about a half mile north of downtown and just south of Beringer. The only complaint about location was road noise. If we had gotten the Sonos speaker to work might have made it better but it did wake us up in early AM. Having 3 bedrooms was a requirement but otherwise I probably wouldn’t have stayed because off season the price was high for not really being able to use the backyard. The Iayout was great. We enjoyed breakfast at the dining table with view of backyard. The kitchen and baths are very dated but perfectly functional. One functional complaint was That the upstairs bathroom vanity light did not work and was very difficult to see to put on makeup. Also the hvac is inconsistent. It was freezing downstairs to make it bearable for sleeping upstairs. Not unexpected in an old house but would be uncomfortable for a longer stay. Overall we had a great time as it was nice to be together rather than in a hotel and we liked being in St Helena. I would stay again.

We loved our stay at Sarah’s home. This beautiful and well maintained home was perfect for our family. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the back deck under the huge oak trees every morning. The salt water pool was a big hit with my daughter, son in-law and their two little ones from Oregon. AC worked well and was welcome with the hot daytime temperatures. The location is wonderful for walking into town to enjoy the English muffins at Model Bakery or the many yummy items on the menu at The Station. We even found a nice playground within walking distance of the home off of Pope St. We were in town for a wedding that was held at Beringer winery conveniently minutes from the house. Sarah was a terrific host and johnny on the spot when we needed anything. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the fantastic water pressure for showers. Beds super comfy too. The home is on Main Street so road noise is a given. Otherwise, five stars on this VRBO. Thank you for sharing your home with us Sarah. If we need to be in St Helena again we will certainly return.
