Perfect home for our large group! Big, beautiful and full of character. We had 8 couples in town for a weekend football game and all were comfortable. Highly recommended stay!

We had a fantastic stay during a busy football weekend. The house was perfectly located to get to ND campus. The bedrooms were huge and the third floor is so fun. We used the kitchen to prepare for our tailgate and it had everything we needed. Check in was super easy. The driveway accommodated several cars and we were able to very comfortably sleep 13 (we had lots of room left over).

Eric was easy to work with. 11 adults for football game. House was so charming. We hung on the porch most of the time. People and restaurants were super friendly. LOVED everything about it!

We had a wonderful stay at the Rose Mansion! Check in was a breeze, the house was ready for us and we enjoyed the historical property as a family. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. To the reviewer who mentioned the smell of the home, there were no odors that were an issue it all. It's a home from 1895 and had adorable charm. Thank you again for opening up your beautiful house to us!

This is a grand house! Very unique with an interesting history. The house has plenty of space and rooms for large groups. We had 18 in our group and all slept comfortably. The owner was very responsive to all questions and a pleasure to work with. We enjoyed our stay!

We had the best time in this lovely home!! 6 mom's and 7 kids stayed for a lacrosse tournament. There was plenty of room, we loved the vibe in this house. So well kept, clean and cool! The boys had a blast upstairs, there's ping pong, basketball, darts and more. The Host Eric, was wonderful! He met my son and I at the house to show us around, definitely glad he did. The house had a very unique layout and features that we wouldn't of known without him showing us. Eric is a great host and we would 100% be booking this house again for future tournaments!! Thank you Eric

What a cool property! As attractive as the pictures were online, being in the house itself is even more impressive. We are group of ND grads that return for a football weekend annually. We've stayed in many different houses. This house is top-rated, per our collective opinion. The interior design is so unique, with nice furniture and accessories throughout. Everything is clean and well-maintained. Eric was also very good to work with, meeting up with the first of our group to arrive and showing them around. And it's in a very convenient location, within easy walking distance. We walked to dinner Friday night, which was a nice switch from past years' experiences.

We rented this VRBO to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from the University of Notre Dame! We had family and friends with us. The house is beautiful on the inside in that Downton Abbey/ Highclere Castle sort of way. Plenty of room for everyone, plenty of bathrooms and sitting rooms but our favorite spot was on the front porch. We ate every meal out on the front porch. The owner met us at check-in taking us on a tour of the house and gave us its history. He answered our call when we locked ourselves out and thankfully he has an app to open the lock remotely. The house is historical and is kept in beautiful and clean condition. One review said it “smelled old” and that was not what we found. Highly recommend staying here. Lastly, it’s within a mile of all you would need, grocery wise, entertainment wise, activity wise and so on.
