Stayed Sep 10, 2025The Barn’acle was very cute, quaint, and clean. The beds were comfortable and we had all the accommodations we needed for a three night girls trip. The neighborhood felt safe and was very close to the downtown shops and restaurants. We were within walking distance of just about everything we needed. The host was very quick to respond to my messages. I would recommend this place if you’re going to Freeport!

Stayed Sep 5, 2025The Barn'acle is very comfortable and clean, located on a quiet street but so close to town and stores we could walk everywhere. Aside from needing a few more hooks for wet jackets and rods for towels, the owners have provided things for a pleasant stay. We would like to return sometime.

Stayed Aug 22, 2025The Barn'acle was an exceptional place to stay. The unit itself was far more spacious than we anticipated and was perfect for the 5 of us (one infant) who stayed there. The unit is clearly well cared for, recently updated and renovated, and very clean. The welcome from the host and their instructions and recommendations where a huge help is us navigating the best options to explore and go to in downtown Freeport. The accessibility to the town and having all of that within walking distance to the unit was also a HUGE plus. I would strongly recommend staying here if you're looking for a long weekend away and want close proximity to all that Freeport has to offer!
