THE IMMEDIATE AREA
You are in Downtown Paso Robles! You can walk to the town square where there are dozens of wine tasting rooms, restaurants, shopping and a farmer's market every Saturday morning. Downtown there are over 12 wine tasting rooms, along with a distillery and local craft breweries. The downtown City Park offers free summer concerts from June through August every Thursday night. Pack a picnic basket, a bottle of wine or two, your beach chairs and enjoy local musicians belting out everything from Jazz to Rock and Blues. It’s also just a dozen blocks from the new Paso Market Walk where you can find all sort of gastronomical delights.

PROVISIONS
The nearest grocery store is Albertsons which has an incredible wine selection. It's just over the 1st street bridge. Smart & Final is also a close-by grocer, a dozen blocks away, north on Spring Street. Just a block away is Cregor’s Liquor & Deli that has an impressive deli (their tri-tip sandwiches are to die for) along with a great collection of spirits and beer. Another favorite located just two blocks away is Twisted & Glazed, a unique and delectable donut shop. There's also a Trader Joe's just down the road a bit on Vineyard Drive in Templeton. While at the Trader Joe's you can pick up some fresh caught fish at Pier 46 Fish Market or head on over to the butcher, J&R Meats, for some grass-fed local meats and game. Back up in Paso you can find a few quality cheese shops, Vivant Fine Cheese and Di Raimondos Italian Market and Cheese Shop, along with some cigar shops, Boyd's and Third Base Market & Spirits.

RESTAURANTS
What goes best with wine…FOOD! Paso is packed with great restaurants. Stay a week or two so you can try all of them! Italian, French, Irish, Asian, Mexican, Organic, even Argentinean are just a few. From pizza to 5-course meals, Paso Robles has come of age in its dining options. Some of our favorites in Paso Robles include BL Brasserie, The Hatch, Thomas Hill Organics, Buena Tavola, Fish Gaucho, Street Side Ale House, The Alchemist and Jeffry's Wine Country BBQ. Just a bit to the south, in Templeton, offers a few more options including McPhee's where you can find some of the best wood-fired steaks in town.

ACTIVITIES
Wine, beer and spirits tasting, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, water park, jeep rides, zip-lining, Farmer's Markets, concerts at Vina Robles Amphitheatre, spas, beaches, Morro Bay, Hearst Castle, Cambria...take your pick. There are endless options to play until your heart's content. And don’t miss Paso latest attraction, Sensorio. Designed by artist, Bruce Munro, the “Field of Light” exhibition is a 15-acre walk-through experience through over 58,000 stemmed spheres.

Great property close proximity (easy walk) to downtown restaurants. The house is comfortable and has a great front yard area. The master bedroom with bath has ample room. The second bedroom and bath are a little tight.

Great location and setup for one or two couples or small family. This is upper level of a duplex, although it did not appear like lower level was occupied during our stay. Parking either on street or in driveway. The outdoor space for this unit is in the front of the house and is gated - we didn’t really use primarily because it was so hot the weekend we went. Very responsive communication with host. Comfortable set up. Each bedroom has its own bath, one en-suite and one accessible from common area. Good A/C. Kitchen well-amenitized. 10 minute walk to downtown Paso.

The house was very clean and well cared for. The host had all the essentials for us. The location is very convenient and close to downtown. The front yard is all gated, so it made it nice for our dogs to stretch their legs.

The house was just as advertised! It was in walking distance to the downtown area and yet far enough away that you could relax and enjoy the silence of the neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again as well as recommended to friends and family who plan to visit the area. Thank you for opening up your beautiful and well appointed home to us.

The house was as charming as in the pictures! Just on the outskirts of the downtown hub (easy 20-minute walk or 2-minute drive). We spent our days exploring Paso wine country and visiting great restaurants. We rented a car to visit country wineries and Hearst Castle on our own schedule. Enjoyed downtown tasting rooms as well. Appreciated the decanter and plethora of wine glasses at the house for our own tastings after a long day. Can't wait to go back!

This craftsman home is located in close proximity to the downtown area. We walked to LPC for dinner although chose to drive to our favorite little coffee spot by LXV. It is very nicely outfitted for cooking. The water in the kitchen had more salinity than we preferred even using the Brita that was provided so we opted for bottled water to drink and fill the Keurig. The grill is not in close proximity to the dining room or outdoor eating space as it is down at the bottom of a flight of stairs. It would be nice to have a small cafe table and a couple of chairs placed in the area for the grill master! Ideally, it would be great to have the grill up in the front courtyard to take advantage of the area.
