Downtown Cape Charles Victorian, Dog-friendly, Short Walk to the Beach!

We had the best time! House was well equipped and very spacious for our family of 4 (plus our dog!) Nice yard and convenient proximity to everything Cape Charles has to offer.

There have been some upgrades that the listed photos do not currently reflect. And I apologize that I did not think to take any photos to share. We found the home clean, welcoming, well supplied, and easy to access. The beds were extremely comfortable!! Kitchen nicely stocked! We did not have a pet, but could see ways they made it accommodating for fur babies. We did not use anything from the shed so I have words on that stuff. Parking was easy because they have a driveway to use. Street parking can get full in town during busier months so this was much appreciated!! Communication with the owner was informative and quick.We have been visiting the Cape Charles area for over 25 years, and we have stayed in over 10 different properties in Cape Charles. We found this one to be of the nicer ones for the price!

What an adorable home! Conveniently located and a perfect family getaway. We loved walking to shops and restaurants. We look forward to returning!

Pet friendly and great place for families with legos and toys and games for the kids! Wonderful house. Love the area. Easy walking to the beach and shops and food/drinks.

We had a very nice stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location was excellent, we could walk to almost everything. Our dog really enjoyed the trip as well since she got to go for golf cart rides.

We had a great stay. Easy check in process. Home was clean and well equipped. We loved using the stand up paddle board and kayaks. Cape Charles has a great beach with easy parking, warm water, and minimal waves. Our dog had a great time playing in the water in the mornings.

Great location. Property was clean and beds were very comfortable. Lots of water water toys for use, along with board games and books. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location. Plenty of parking. The big issue was cleanliness. Upon our 5:45pm arrival, the house was not cleaned by a service. The owner promptly sent cleaners over. Kitchen pots and pans, bowls, and silverware was dirty, and…there were roaches.

The place was perfect for our family. Our family of five fit perfectly in the connected rooms and then the grandparents stayed in the room with the king bed. Everyone was comfortable and we loved the location. The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off the sand after the beach and the house was well stocked. Overall it was a great beach stay!

Great home base for a laid-back beach trip to Cape Charles with the family. We couldn't find some of the beach items listed, but the owner was really responsive in helping make sure we had access to what we needed.

The house location was excellent. The kitchen was a bit of a disappointment, it was small and the pots and pans were lacking in the sense there were no smaller pots and the layoff was not functional. The upstairs bath needs updated the tub needs reglazing and its dangerous to use. I have some mobility issues so its not user friendly to older people. Otherwise we enjoyed our time there

Prime location, great stay!

Location in everything and Cape Cottage is in perfect location. Quaint 1901 house that has turn of the century charm and modern convenience.

Overall we really enjoyed this property. We found it had everything we needed and the location was great. There was some cleanliness issues…. Food on plates and pans, coffee left in carafe, grounds left in machine, hair/dust balls on floors, stained towels. Not overly objectionable but greater care is needed on these items.
