Stayed Nov 23, 2025We enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. The couch needs to be replaced, and the main bedroom's bed is pretty worn as well. The downstairs lighting could be brighter for reading and cooking. We appreciated the proximity to town and the natural light in the upstairs bedroom. Unfortunately, the oven broke while preparing our meal, but we were checking out the next day, so made accommodations. We would return for another stay.

Stayed Sep 30, 2025We had a great stay. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed (including kitchen basics like oil and spices, laundry detergent, dishwashing pods, etc). The neighborhood was quiet but close to the center of Bar Harbor so that we could walk and not have to worry about traffic/ parking.

Stayed Oct 27, 2024What we loved most about this property was the location. It was a quick, 5-10 min walk to the downtown area which includes the harbor front. It was also close to many hiking trails. I appreciated the sidewalks on all the streets and the street lights which made it easy for dog walking even at night. Fenced-in front yard was great for letting the dogs out. Everything about the house was perfect. It had a really warm, cozy feeling. We appreciated having the towels and bedding supplied so we didn't have to bring. There was even laundry detergent provided. We stayed here week of Halloween and there was a huge celebration on the street .. it was so much fun! We really loved our stay and would definitely choose this property again.

Stayed Mar 20, 2024The Little Green House was attractive, comfortable and outfitted with everything we needed. Even though the calendar said spring had arrived, we had two snowstorms during our five day stay. Our walks in Acadia National Park were spectacularly beautiful, and it was so nice to come back to hot soup and snuggling on the comfy couch under throws while streaming something on the TV. The location is great; everything in Bar Harbor is one to three blocks away -- an easy walk even when it's snowy.
