Dove Mountain Retreat - Private pool

Perfectly located in Dove Mountain, close to golf and stores. Lovely neighborhood. The pool would be perfect to use closer to May and through the summer when the heat is at its peak in Arizona. Thank you for sharing your home with our family.

The host was excellent. Very responsive, clear, and easy to work with from start to finish. Also, is a former US Army officer. Thank you for your service!!!The home was clean and comfortable, and the backyard is a real highlight. The pool is outstanding. Great size, layout, and easy access. It was even better than expected. The water was a bit cool during our spring break stay, but still very enjoyable.Overall, we had a very good experience. A few smaller details would move this into a clear five-star stay.The master mattress is ready to be replaced. It is memory foam, but has noticeable wear with two deep impressions, which made it less comfortable over the week.The kitchen is functional but minimally stocked. Basic pots, pans, and utensils are there, but just enough to get by. A few more everyday items would go a long way, especially for families cooking most of their meals. We made it work for a week, but it felt a bit tight at times.A couple of small operational items as well. The garbage disposal was not working when we arrived, though it was an easy reset. Also, no laundry detergent was provided, which is needed for checkout, so we picked some up locally.Checkout instructions were simple and very reasonable, which we appreciated.All in all, a strong stay with a great host and an excellent pool. With a few updates, this would easily be a five-star property.

Nice house, beautiful back yard with pool. Easy access to shopping and hiking.

The property is really nice. The pool is ice cold- could not get in it. It was full of leaves when we arrived. Most of the TV stations were blocked. We watched 40-50 year old re-runs or the news. The thermostat was controlled from somewhere else and we could not set it from with-in. The Davey that is advertised does not exist. The grill is old and filthy and could not be used. Could not watch the super bowl or the olympies. Sad situation.

Great location for a relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful time at this property. A very safe neighborhood, easy access to trails for walking/hiking. Great golf near by. In the evening we had camp fires. The pool and waterfall is nice, just a little too cool to get in. The house is large and comfortable, a great place to stay. The host was easy to contact and accommodated our needs. I would definitely stay here again..The house is large

Spacious & comfortable house, some of instructions for use of TV need updating or more clarification, would have liked to have use of garage. Location to golf, groceries, places to eat was good & not that far of a drive to Oro Valley if you need to expand your choices.

The property was ideal for our reunion with friends made 40 years ago when we all lived in Minneapolis. Now in our 70’s and living all over the west we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Tucson. The location was perfect for hikes in Santa Catalina Park, for seeing a play in downtown Tucson and eating out. We enjoyed hanging out and catching up at the house and back yard.
