Dordogne Valley, 4 * holiday house, exclusive pool, 15kms from Bergerac

Lovely house in an idyllic setting. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your gorgeous farm. We had a wonderful time making many happy memories. The highlight with the children was the pool.

A beautiful Gite surrounded by nature and wild life but near civilisation in half a kilometre. Everything is catered for and the host cannot be more helpful

Great place to stay, very rural with lots of walks. Friendly cat that appears so beware if you take a dog!! The host Jean Marie very kind and welcoming would definitely go again.

The house is set up a lane and has perfect location for a chilled holiday, the pool was perfect for cooling off on a hot day and the games in the pergola kept us all amused, Mr marty was a gracious host and we left with heavy hearts

A beautiful house, smartly and comfortably furnished and wonderfully private! Mr Marty was helpful and friendly - thank you! The pool was an added bonus, which we used even when the weather wasn't great. The woodburner was perfect for Autumnal evenings! We loved our visits from the friendly cat :) Could not recommend more highly!

Our stay was for 2 weeks, but unfortunately we had to leave after a week, due to illness, having said that, our stay was lovely. The house is in the most beautiful part of countryside, very peaceful and quiet, never slept so well. All mod cons in fact more than you need, very clean and very French with lovely touches. I would say it is better for adults than small children as the pool was away from the house, so an adult is always needed. It was ok for us as we had a teenager with us, so no problem. Jean-Marie was a great host and helped us to get to the airport for our journey home. I would certainly go back and thoroughly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay. All the amenities we could have wanted were there, the house was very well equipped. There were lots of handy things provided (toilet roll, washing up liquid, coffee pods for the machine and hand soap) and having towels and sheets provided made everything easy. The pool was lovely and the house is surrounded by gorgeous herbs, plants and fig trees. Very relaxing stay, we would love to come back!

We fell in love with the Gite the moment we walked in. It’s the perfect farmhouse, relaxing and airy, with a lovely huge conservatory on the back With dining set and comfy seating. Overlooking fields of horses and woodland with deer this little oasis is the perfect chill out zone. Add to this a good sized pool and fig trees aplenty, we were very happy. Jean-Marie was a gracious and helpful host and we would definitely be very happy to revisited his beautiful home.

Met by Marty,such a friendly welcome, the house grounds and pool were outstanding, our first time to Bergerac and France, we will be going back to france next year. All the amenities you need beautifully built, kitchen well equipped with two barbecues outside gas or charcoal. The grounds are so tranquil relaxing, the pool an extra bonus, however is a little awkward for younger children as it slopes from side to side and a little slippy. But overall very happy, Marty is very helpful and if anything goes wrong is quick to sort out. We will be back one day again, also the horses are very friendly my boy and girl both fell in love with them feeding them daily the fruits off the trees, which there is lots of, a large apricot tree fig trees damsen or plum apple trees. Definately 5star accommodation. Thank you so much for helping us fall in love with Bergerac.
