John was a very thorough and thoughtful host. The house was spacious and clean and fully stocked with food and amenities. Beautiful home with lovely morning views. Very close to Tahoe Donner resort. We had an amazing time and I highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay with our family of 4, skiing in Sugar Bowl and Donner Ski Ranch and then coming home to this amazing and spacious house!

Highlights for us included the large and conveniently placed saltwater hot tub, the over-the-top equipped and spacious kitchen, and every bedroom and bathroom was super comfortable and kept us happy for a week together with a beautiful view of the forest and lake. - the Murphy Family

Dinner Dayz was great. Clean, comfortable, great hot tub and grill. Home was well stocked and hosts were very communicative. Super seamless check in and check out process.

Well equipped kitchen and lots of staples provided. All rooms were clean. The home was very cozy and spacious. Lots of games and TV had access to cablel and other platforms. One of the nicest places our family has stayed.

Our host was very attentive and the house was perfect for the 9 of us. The hot tub was a treat! The pantry was well-stocked and having 2 sets of washer and dryers was ideal.

We loved our stay at this beautiful house! It's got a large living room with views of Donner Lake through the trees, a well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds in all of the bedrooms. The house is clean, comfortable, and spacious. Our favorite part of the house was the hot tub on the top deck. It's the perfect way to start or finish your day in Donner!The owner is a great communicator, providing lots of information about the house and the surrounding area. He also gave easy instructions for getting in and out of the house, parking, etc.This house is a great place for a family or group of friends who want to enjoy all that Donner and Truckee have to offer.

This property was amazing , from the hot tub to the Mountain View. I would recommend this to anyone one going to Donner Lake. It is close to West Beach and a 10 minute beautiful drive around the lake to the State park entrance. The most impressive thing about this is the host. 10/10 in communication and accommodation. I cannot tell you enough how amazing the host. Thanks John!!!

Amazing home. Lots of space and room for everyone. Host was very personable and that house was stocked with just about anything you could need. Would highly recommend for those with large families. We built four days of great memories in the home. Not a three minute walk to beach as mentioned on site however still convenient to get to water. Would definitely stay again.

This place was the ideal stay for a group of friends looking to head to the nearby ski resorts for a weekend. There is a lot I could mention that was great, including the awesome outdoor hot tub, but I think most surprising of all was how absolutely stocked the kitchen was. We brought many supplies to cook our own meals and it turned out that 75% of it was already provided free to use. Spices, flour, sugar, soups, sauces, creamer, honey, syrup, the list went on. Anyway, highly recommend John as a host. He was super welcoming, very responsive, and extremely helpful for any issues we had.

We loved this house not only because it is gorgeous and the location next to the lake is great, but because it's clearly a well cared for home with everything you may need.

We enjoyed our stay at Donner Dayz. The hot tub was a highlight, and the owners were quickly responsive to every request. The kitchen was well stocked for our family dinners, and we loved waking up to the beautiful views from the living room. We hope to come back again!

Owner called me prior to trip— very personable. I asked if they had kid-friendly plates and he said he’ll get them shipped for us!! Wow what amazing service, beyond what was expected. Super well stocked with everything needed. Clean and beds so comfortable. Zero issues. Only thing would be to have more USB plugs? Very quiet and sound proof. Sleds in garage and played in backyard. Wished we used hot tub! Roads well plowed. Can’t wait to go back!

John is very responsive and try to meet our needs. He even delivered a new kettle during our stay after I ask him if he happen to have one. Comfortable cabin with many supplies. Well maintained hot tub.

We have stayed at several different cabins in the Donner area. This cabin was by far the best! From the view, the floor plan, sleep options, and the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

This cabin was so beautiful and well stocked! We had everything we needed for making our own meals for our group of 8 women celebrating a special birthday together. The hot tub was exquisitely clean… the cleanest I’ve experienced in a rental property. The location was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We had an amazing stay! The home offered beautiful views, all the amenities you could ask for, ample space for large groups, top-notch safety features, and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking scenery. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the spacious layout allowed everyone to have their own space. We felt secure with the advanced security measures in place. The kids had a blast exploring the outdoor space and using the available lake toys. We were able to unwind and recharge in the peaceful surroundings. The host even included toiletries in case we forgot our own, and device chargers to borrow as needed. Our stay was truly unforgettable.
