Dogwood Cottage-Walk to Downtown Black Mountain

We had a wonderful day. The house was so adorable. The hostess was very quick to answer any questions. This was literally walking distance to downtown and we were able to get together with our family and have a great reunion.! we definitely will be back to this house!

Very cute, clean and quiet house! We enjoyed being within walking distance to downtown and Lake Tomahawk while enjoying the peace and quiet of a surrounding neighborhood. The house was as described and perfect for a small girls getaway. Thank you for having us.

This house was perfect. Very clean. It had everything you needed including nightlights that were perfect for kids. The house even had shampoos and soap like a hotel. It was an easy walk to downtown, even kids did it! Would absolutely recommend and would stay again.

Such a sweet cottage in a great neighborhood, close to downtown. There isn’t a thing but positive things to say (every utensil,pot and casserole dish you could need). Can’t wait to return!

This little Cottage, was so cute & very clean. Kitchen was well stocked, two different kinds of coffee makers always a perk. Walk to downtown in like 10 minutes maybe sooner. Would love to rent again, when we go back.

Lovely place for a girls weekend getaway! Quiet and close to town. We were impressed with the cleanliness, thoughtfulness of a fully stocked kitchen, games, puzzles, books, plenty of blankets, etc. The host is quick to respond. I am only sad our stay was short. I plan to stay again when I am in the area.

Great home and location

Awesome place to stay. Clean and cozy. Its located close enough to walk to downtown if you choose. Far enough away to be quiet and peaceful in very nice neighborhood.

The house was clean and well maintained, and in walking distance to shops and restaurants in downtown area. Was perfect for what we needed and would stay again. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and clean home. Fully equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable. The only thing it lacked in my opinion was a large outdoor sitting space to gather and enjoy the fresh air. We did love those heated toilet seats.

We had a lovely weekend at Dogwood Cottage! The pictures don't do this adorable cottage justice. The house was spotless and the owners' attention to thinking about guests' comfort was evident. It was perfect for our needs as we enjoyed hiking in Montreat, roaming around downtown Black Mountain, and an afternoon in Asheville. We will definitely book Dogwood Cottage again in the future!

We love staying at Dogwood Cottage, a great place to spend a week on a quiet street close to town. We feel right at home there!

Another wonderful stay

Small but spacious property with comfortable furniture in a great location. We enjoyed the walkability to downtown and spending mornings and evenings in the rockers on the front porch.

Cute, Clean and Comfortable - my friend and I stayed here for three days in August. It was about .5 mile to the cutest town I have ever seen, with great shops and restaurants. We both LOVED the decor of the cottage, and the layout was perfect. Lots of sunshine in the living and dining areas. Loved the color of the walls. Just a perfect cottage and a great place to visit.

This was our 3rd stay at Dogwood Cottage. As always, loved it. Cottage is extremely clean and well stocked for the stay. So convenient to downtown and wonderful restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

We came in Thursday night and we were immediately impressed. The house was spotlessly clean. The bathrooms were spacious. The kitchen was a dream. The dining room and living room was bight and airy. The beds were so comfortable that I slept like a baby. Every detail was so perfect. Already making plans to return next year

Came for a girlfriends weekend with friend of 45 years. We all grew up in Asheville and wanted to bring our dollars back to WNC after Hurricane Helene. This was the perfect place! The house is super cute, spotless and well-appointed for everything we needed. The bed/bath arrangement was just right--everyone in our group of 4 had a bed. Communication with the owner was great.The house is in a great location, walking distance to downtown and Lake Tomohawk. Black Mountain is lively, with a wonderful tailgate market on Saturday morning. I highly recommend Dogwood Cottage.

Being that we were the first family to stay at Dogwood Cottage 2 months after Hurricane Helene hit, our stay was perfect. The property owners were quick to answer our questions and took care of small issues. The location is perfect. The home was perfect for our family. We will definitely stay there again and tell our friends about it.

Our stay in this property was wonderful. It's just as the online listing indicates. We enjoyed the town of Black Mountain and all its great restaurants. Our day trip to Little Switzerland was also a highlight. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a wonderful home in amazing condition. Everything was outstanding. Amazingly clean and beautiful home. We especially enjoyed the front porch and the small sunroom/back porch. Very close to all the restaurants and shopping in Black Mountain. We'll definitely be back.
