Dog-friendly waterfront house with private pool, hot tub, ocean views & AC

Our stay was absolutely amazing at the house. Check in we had to drive to Vacasa to pick up the key, but it was right down the road. The house was absolutely amazing and we would totally stay again. It was right on the water so that was definitely worth it. There’s a sidewalk that runs in front of the house so the kids were able to bike ride back-and-forth.We did have issues with Vacasa not responding to our request. The grill was unusable and the TV in the living room wasn’t working, along with an along with a few other minor things. But that’s totally not the owner’s fault. I would just suggest to the owner to change rental companies. Vacasa kept responding to my text saying somebody would get back to us. I called multiple times with no response. I was totally ignored. But thank goodness these were minor things so I was requesting compensation back. I am still waiting to hear about compensation. I pray that the owner reads this and responds.

We had a great time and the house was nice but for the price, it could use some updating.

Our family spent a long weekend at this home, and loved it. The home is beautiful, and laid out in such a way to allow you to really enjoy nature and the views of the Sound. We loved the dock, and the easy access to the water that came with the home!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Great location with beautiful views of the sound. Our teens enjoyed the property amenities - pool table, hot tub and water access. The property could use a little more basic maintenance and groundskeeping.

Overall the trip was great!! The view is spectacular!!! We definitely would say some of the things could use a little updating and it didn’t quite look as nice as the pictures made it look. Again the view just makes the whole place worth it in the end. We will still definitely be back no matter what in the future.

We had a great time in the Outer Banks. We loved the location of the house. However, not being able to turn the thermostat below 71 made our stay sometimes uncomfortable. The house was not cleaned appropriately. The rugs and the couches were nasty as well as one of the beds not being made. We feel it did not match the price to rent the house. We would not rent this property again.

House fulfilled all of our needs with 9 family members. Great view and we loved kayaking. We also really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. This was our 24th annual OBX trip and we already can’t wait to come back!!

Home definitely needs some TLC just like the other reviews.

I was very disappointed in the amount of money we spent and the problems we had. Started off with house not clean example shower curtain had mold on them. Only thing they fixed the whole stay and how they fixed it was they brought us new shower curtain for me to put up. You’re welcome they are up. We had issues with dishwasher leaking, air conditioning on top level not working, smoke detector going off and wouldn’t stop,(safety issue I thought they would fix but didn’t), the list goes on but don’t have time to write them all. We finally stopped reporting issues because they said they would come out to fix we stayed by house because we had dogs and didn’t want someone coming in and making the dogs nervous. No one ever showed up so wasted time waiting instead of enjoying the beach. Pigeons made nest on mid level porch said they would come out and clean but never did bird feces all over so couldn’t use that deck. The house could be a nice beach get away but is in need of some major TLC to take care of cleaning and maintenance issues. I really hope they came out and fixed before the next guest show up.

Couldn't fit in the problems: they wanted me to rent a grill instead of bringing us a new one. Loved the house..very well kept, clean, nice supply of dishes, glasses, bowls, pots, pans ect.... Most beds (not the queen) are comfortable. King bed on top floor needs a much bigger top fitted sheet. Keeps falling off but the bed is comfortable. Great pool and pool area, love the privacy, great being so close to the water. I definitely would rent again.
