We booked our reservation and paid in full on June 27,2022 and everything seemed fine until 4 days before we were supposed to arrive I received an email stating that we would have to be relocated because the property was having structural issues. We were offered a different rental house in Chelan. While the house in Chelan was beautiful it didn’t offer any access to water and would’ve cost us a lot of money in gas and time driving back and forth as we were visiting friends that live in Sun Cove(Orondo). For 48 hours we went back and forth with me reaching out to Vacasa numerous times and being placed on hold and hung up on. I was also told that someone would call me back 3 separate times and no one EVER called me back. Finally the last time I called I was told that the structural issue had been taken care of and that our rental was again available. When we arrived to the rental the house had not been thoroughly cleaned and everything was covered in dog hair. Thankfully I brought Benadryl for my husband who had a issue because of the hair. I spent the 1st hour of my visit cleaning surfaces and trying to vacuum the dog hair. The ice maker in the fridge upstairs wasn’t working and the fridge and freezer (that were advertised as part of the rental) were locked unavailable for use. We had to drive to town multiple times to get ice and use coolers to keep things cold and to have ice for drinks. The stand up air conditioner in the downstairs bedroom leaked all over the floor because it had not been emptied. So we had to take it outside to empty it. The stairs to that went from the deck down to access the yard are unstable and rickety they are also uneven and 2 people in our party almost fell all the way down, but thankfully they were able catch themselves. The deck itself is uneven and was clearly not installed professionally. The scariest part was the rail on the top deck that almost fell when my husband leaned on it. We then discovered that it had been “fixed” with one small piece of wood to hold it together. I am grateful that no one was hurt and that we discovered these issues before something worse happened. There are also cobwebs everywhere in the house and tons of spiders. Also the pathway stepping stones are uneven and loose. The paper goods and laundry soap were out and we had to purchase more. I was sent a preregistration a week prior to our stay which I filled out and was never sent our checkin information until I called Vacasa yet again.

Fun place for friends and family.. pool was amazing. AC didn't work in the main area of the house, vacuume didn't work nor did the freezer. Over all it was a great time.

When we first entered the property it was clear it had not been thoroughly cleaned. The floors were sticky, we found dirty dishes in the downstairs living area and the counters still had crumbs in the kitchen. Didn't help that it was a hot day and the check-in team had left the AC units off in the bedrooms so the the house was like an oven inside. We opened all sliding doors, turned on the swamp cooler and called the property manager. The Vacasa property manager was at a party and couldn't hear us very well on the phone. We explained the situation and he promised to have a cleaning crew come out right away on Monday (we arrived Sunday). The cleaning crew never showed, we cleaned the house our selves which was a pretty awesome way to spend out vacation. You get to know a place when you clean it...it's pretty clear the owners of this house put in almost no effort before renting it. The house is cluttered with old junk in cupboards and closets after what appears to be years of hard use. Ultimately, Vacasa and VRBO...you should seriously either rethink your relationship with this property owner OR seriously step up your game. Ultimately, we left a day early at the end. This was our first and last time renting from VRBO/Vacasa.

We had a wonderful time at this house. Great location right on a small beach area. Big enough yard for kid games. Short walk to pool and tennis courts which were in great condition. Beds were all comfortable. Easy drive to Chelan but make sure you bring most of your food and supplies because it is 25 minutes to the nearest grocery store. We would definitely come here again. Only negative was the house wasn't very clean. The sofas haven't been cleaned or vacuumed underneath them for some time. The beams in the main living space need to be cleaned of dust and cobwebs too. Honestly, just a small thing but might be time for a new cleaning service or ask for a deep clean. Overall, we had a great time here and hope to return. Thanks for sharing you house!

We loved the area - close enough to Lake Chelan without the crowds! The river view, breeze, and community pool were perfect! The house was pretty dated but perfect considering the affordable price. We would stay again for sure!

I enjoyed staying at this rental for the weekend with my family. The home is a little outdated and doesn't have central heating/cooling but it was fine for us because the weather outside wasn't so bad. The home itself can sleep a lot of people and it's so spacious you don't feel like it's crowded even with everyone upstairs. The deck was beautiful with a beautiful view! I would recommend this rental if you're not too picky and used to modern upgraded luxuries. It was a nice getaway for us and I enjoyed staying there!

Perfect place to be if you own a boat. The deck is amazing. Everything we needed was there. The only complaint we had was the swamp cooler in the main upper living room, not effective at all. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms which was great. Beds were comfortable. Favorite part was watching stars from the deck at night.

We loved this home. There were MANY issues. All related to the cleaning and maintenance of the home. I'm sure the owners are unaware. It is an old home with character but we're not that picky. Safety and cleanliness are our standards and they were sadly not met. The view is beautiful. Location is amazing. One of the few properties only a short block from the pool/clubhouse. Very few are ON the river and this one is. With a buoy for your wave runner/boat. Huge deck, plenty of seating! Hate it when they state they accommodate a large group but then there's not enough chairs. Beds were comfy (we only used 3 of 4 queens and didn't use the 4 bunks or sleeper sofa at all). The downstairs game room is fantastic. A whole separate space for teens/kids with it's own bath and shower and exit to the yard. We set up badminton on the side of the house which was great! But watch out for the sprinklers! Thankfully it was hot enough that getting wet was not an issue and it made for a good laugh. There is every kitchen tool/gadget you could want. Even an ice cream maker! (wish I had known). They need a new cleaning team first and foremost! screens/fans/new dish sponges/a container for the fly swatters/new blinds/handheld shower head and a new grill! With those small improvements I would recommend and stay at this property over and over again. We rented a wave runner from Jim the Jet ski guy and he was great! Wave runner was beautifully maintained and life jackets were quality. After our wave runner day we got pizza from Cider Works (the grill only worked on high so we figured no more cooking). After our day in the sun, the boys plugged in to the big gaming tv downstairs and hubby and I were able to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio at Tsillan Cellars at sunset. Got a birthday Pie from Lone Pine up the road on the way out. This house is really great if you're not looking for the newest shiniest most modern. But if you're up for a loved family cabin on the river and can swallow a few not so pretty signs of it's age, you'll have a great time.
