Rented house primarily for hot tub and pool. Hot tub was never hot. We were only able to get intohot tub about 3 times and it was lukewarm then, and water kept draining out. There was a missing jet with cold water in it. We paid extra to for increases pool heat to VACASA, who actually rented house thru VRBO. Water drained 8-10 inches every day. A water hose was there to fill it up each day. Chemicals probably went out of hot tub. We filled it up every day even though we couldn’t get in it. The shower door in the main bathroom did not have a groove to slide the door and one could lose control of the door because it slide sideways and it was hard to remain steady when exiting the shower. There was also a problem with garbage disposal and dishwasher which we never used. The dishwasher overflowed with dirty water that apparently thru garbage disposal in sink. some floor tiles had been replaced and water was under tiles. The VACASA staff replied quickly to complaints and even said they were going to send someone from a Pool Company to look at the hot tub and pool. Maybe they came after we left, I hope so for the next Renter. There were also rusty nails near the pool from the roof and gutter. The oool and hot tub were supposed to be heated and ready upon our arrival since we gave them plenty of notice and paid extra before our arrival. A pool. The house was very clean and convenient but we were upset every single day during our stay about the hot tub and pool

The home was very clean and the pool area was very nice but the home was in desperate need of some general updates to make it comfortable. For instance the washer lid wouldn’t open and you had to hold it while you filled the washer. The dryer door was a struggle to open due to the closet door it’s housed in. The fridge was small and no ice maker. In one bedroom the light fixture looked as if it was going to fall and it was over the bed. The biggest concern was for safety! The second night we were there we were going to make hamburgers but the grill had a flas burst of fire and burnt all the hair off my husband’s arm and part of the eyebrow and hair off my dads face. Apparently the grease trap was clogged and then the grill caught fire. My husband is a firefighter and thank goodness because the extinguisher was COMPLETELY EMPTY! He used salt and was able to extinguish it. I feel this has probably happened before as the house has black on that area and the outside lights have been removed from that area. We contacted Vacasa immediately and got no return call at all. Not even to check on the condition of my dad and husband. Also the outside lights both front and partially in the back, did not work. The house is in great proximity to the beach but in all honesty, I would not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

Loved 2 week stay at Holmes Beach on AMI in OCT. Easy beach access up the street and on other streets close by. Holmes Beach has calm surf - no issues with rip tides. Neighborhood is nice and quite. House was clean. All tile floors helped with dogs. Pool/jacuzzi made the house even better!

The house needs renovations. The bedrooms( the ones close to the kitchen)are super hot at night. The air conditioner is good outside but not inside the rooms. The pool area also needs renovation. Pool dirty. Needs landscaping .The same happened last time we were there but now is worse.

First AMI is a great place to vacation for the laid back family or couples trip. I’ve been coming here every summer for the past 9 years. Tropical Oasis is a fine home for families or couples. The home is pleasant and mildly decorated. The pool is the highlight of the house. Some of the pool furniture is a bit dilapidated and could be replaced, but overall I loved this place and would like to return. The neighborhood is welcoming and easy going. I loved it ‼️

Home itself could have been amazing, vacasa not so much to work with when things go wrong. Probably the worse experience I’ve had in my 15 years of booking.

In close proximity to beach. Very spacious with very nice pool and access to garage, which was nice. This is listed as a pet friendly home. We did NOT have a pet. However, there was dog hair on the floors. Otherwise, the house was clean as far as the linens, toilets, showers, kitchen counters, dishes, and to us that was the important part. The only reason I mention it was that I felt like the floors did not get cleaned, as we had to wear shoes/socks after showering, as the floors would turn our feet very dirty and there was alot of dog hair from last renter. The landscape, though it did not effect our stay was sad with lots of weeds growing up on the patio area and around the entire house. Regardless, I would stay here again, as it was very nice.

We spent a lovely week at Tropical Oasis. We enjoyed every moment in the house, as well as in the beautiful pool. The customer service was magnificent. The proximity to the beach make the house located in the best spot or place. We can't wait to return next summer. It's a very nice and cozy house.

Great location and nice pool area. Roomy. Most furniture tired and needs replacement as does decrepit gas grill. Several small items should be addressed to make this a great place
