Dog-Friendly Retreat w/ Bay Views, a Spacious Deck, & Secluded Feel

Large open floor plan, great views and quite area. Kitchen was well stocked, good layout with very large island. Lighting in main house was very lacking, differently needs improved. Dishwasher had a black slime or mold in it, we wouldn't use it. Hot water had a horrible smell at first, we ran it for some time and was able to get the smell to go away. There was a hamper full of dirty sheets and towels when we arrived. We needed to chanthe sheets and comforter in the main bedroom due to dog hair and overall dirt.

Home was clean, well organized with care about the guests. The views from windows and deck are amazing. Spectacular sunrise. Tasteful and comfortable rooms. Not a new home but everything well-maintained and cleaned. We had a restful stay and will be coming back.

The house was perfect. Loved the view most of all and the easy drive to the beach and downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and the rooms are comfortable.

We loved everything about this home. Starting with the very comfortable master bedrooms bed to the extremely private and quiet location of this home which is close to everything. The views are wonderful when the weather clears out. The home was well equipped with fast WiFi. We found everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. We will be back.

Great location awesome view. Very open and easy to move around. Yard was great for playing yard games and letting dogs run around. Very cool seeing planes land on the runway. Very quiet. Great basement for wet clothes and dogs.

The house is spacious and functional.

The house was just right for our group of 7 friends for a weekend of birding and socializing. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was big and easy to use, the living room and dining room were spacious, and we loved the view of the bay and the little airstrip. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights. As shared by others the view was beautiful, beds were comfy and house was spacious. My recommendations are to add some inexpensive wine glasses. It’s a drag drinking wine from cups or water glasses, provide some all purpose cleaner for wiping down the white counters and surfaces. water and paper towel doesn’t quite cut it.Add to your description that the fireplace is non-functional. All in all, it was a lovely place to stay and recommend.

Close to the beach and the fish and chips restaurants! Private and quiet home with a big kitchen for cooking together and plenty of room to spread out and do puzzles and games. Garage below lets you leave the sandy wet clothes and shoes, and clean off the dogs.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The rooms and beds were excellent. The kitchen and living room were spacious and open. The view from the large deck was incredible. We will definitely be coming back here.

The house was in a great and quiet location with a great view. We loved watching the ship traffic come and go as well as the airplanes land and take off. We did have some bug problems while there. Which was unfortunate: the management company was quick to respond and help out but it complicated our trip.

I like how it feels very private and and spacious. My family enjoyed their time here.

Horrible stay. Got bite by bed bugs in the master bedroom.

Plenty of room for our group of 8, including 2 toddlers. The beds were super comfy and most items/supplies needed were already there. It was easy to check in and check out.

We had a group of 5 sharing the house for a few days. Very close to everything in Westport. Peaceful and very comfortable.

Wonderful 4 night stay. Bayview has a retro vibe and ver comfortable bed. Great place if you have dogs! There's a strange odor not sure what it was. We were able to adjust by opening windows and turning on fans. The view is fabulous and it's very close to town.

The views from the large windows in the living room, dining room and kitchen were absolutely beautiful!!! There are neighbors closeby, but with a large backyard (that leads to a very quiet [no traffic] runway + ocean beyond), it feels quite private. On a different note, if you are not an indoor animal/pet person, this is not the place for you. The room I stayed in smelled like wet dog and the blanket at the end of the bed smelled like a dog had been laying on it for weeks without being washed. With the windows closed up, it kind of seals the pet aroma in the house. There was quite a bit of pet hair around on the furniture and bed linens. On a more serious note, we also noticed that someone (housekeeping?) let themselves into the house while we were gone one day. They may have been just replacing soaps/shampoos, but we were never notified. This is a security issue. We would never have agreed to stay in a home where someone could let themselves into our rental without telling us. The code to the front door appears to be someone's phone number, and seems that it is never changed. Not only is this a security issue for the renters but also for the owner/house keeper letting themselves in.... esp if there is a renter in there that feels a stranger might be trespassing.
