Dog friendly oceanfront house with sweeping ocean views and wood burning fireplace

Overall a fine stay but the house is in need of some updating. Exposed wires near plug outlets near fireplace don’t seem safe especially when staying my with little kids. Fireplace does not draw and frequent blowdowns of smoke. Suggest cleaning of chimney is needed. View of ocean is nice but online pictures are a little deceiving, no direct access from house backyard. Overall, Rockaway town has very limited dining options too. Would stay at a different coastal town next time.

The home is listed with a “Wood Burning Fireplace” literally in the description. We purposely look for homes in the winter on the coast that do have this feature. There was a strange video fire feature in the fireplace and it truly was not “Wood Burning”. Overall the home was very rustic which we like.

Very comfortable home conveniently located for traveling the North Coast. Beautiful views of the ocean. Quiet neighborhood and good working amenities, such as the TV and WiFi.

The house was exactly as advertised and the ocean views are amazing! The house has a great variety of amenities with the board games, lots of extra blankets, pancake syrup, Brita pitcher, etc. And the crow's nest is adorable! We had a really great, relaxing time. Thank you!

Overall we absolutely loved our stay at SeaFarer. Ocean views, access to the beach, fireplace and attached elevated seating area were real highlights for us. The weather prevented us from enjoying the outside area but it's great that it has a firepit and picnic table. The beds were very comfortable and we loved that it had two bathrooms. We found it a bit challenging that there really isn't kitchen counter space for cooking but we managed. Our only real complaint is that the living room furniture was not very comfortable at all. I would suggest replacing one, if not both of the sofas. We would definitely stay here again. Love the Rockaway Beach area.

We knew it would likely be stormy so we were grateful to find a place with a view so we could enjoy the ocean despite the weather. With the king tides and storm surges there were times when there was no sandy beach or the wind-driven sand was uncomfortable but we enjoyed those hours between beach walks inside this comfortable home watching the ocean, reading, and watching movies. It was a restful, refreshing stay and we appreciate you sharing this property.

Girls weekend was a success! We loved the location, cute older beach house that had everything you could think of needing… we loved the fireplace, fire pit and the “eagles nest!”Thanks for a great time! Definitely will stay here again someday!

Our family enjoyed our stay. It's a comfortable house. The living room could use some updated furniture to make the comfort better. Our 14 yr old grandsons enjoyed the tower. We loved the ocean view, crashing waves and fire pit. The kitchen is tight but workable. Castles and mountains were built in the sand making memories complete. Note: the plush towels and wash cloths were slow to dry becoming sour. No communication with property manager.

Waking up to the beautiful beach view and going to bed with the beautiful sunset was sensational. The deck, firepit, and sand area were perfect for all the family, We had everything we needed plus more! Would recommend this place and would love to come back every summer.

Overall the property was perfect, great ocean views. The posted property pictures were quite dated, but again, overall there was plenty of space for family and our labs. Did have some trouble with ants in the kitchen and dining area and could find no repellent. We plan to rebook next year diring the same period.
