Stayed Aug 28, 2025Beautiful location with amazing views.Jacuzzi jets need deep cleaned. The decking is a safety issue, needs to be fully replaced and the flooring should be anything but carpet. Please also take down the horrid chair lift.Everything else was just small issues that you should expect from an older home. Overall I enjoyed my stay and hope to see these changes in the near future. I'd love to stay again. Thank you

Stayed Aug 10, 2024Carpet is stained all over and smells like dog pee. Toilet leaked , not enough towels , kitchen towels no laundry detergent, no garbage bags,no pot for upstairs coffee maker, no complimentary coffee, there is a chair lift to get to the downstairs that is dangerous to maneuver around especially for the elderly like myself who has knee problems and I’m in my 70s. There is no upstairs shower or tub so had to go downstairs to shower. I contacted Vacasa five times with the only response was our first day here to say please find us another place. Never heard back. The only time was when we first got here and the upstairs bathroom rug was wet from a leaky toilet . The second day we were here Jack did come out to give us towels and fix the toilet leak if it weren’t for him we wouldn’t have been able to stay. We tried looking to find other sites to stay after not getting any help from Vacasa. We will never use any of their homes again as after trying to contact daily with no response. Thank you Jack for your help at least you were responsive to what we needed our first day. Also the jacuzzi tub emitted blak crud and could not be used. We asked to be compensated but got no respond s after five attempts

Stayed Aug 1, 2024If you and your party of six wanted to get away for a Pacific coast weekend in a spacious house, this place is for you. Gorgeous views, and we really enjoyed the full kitchens on both levels. The master bedroom downstairs was terrific. The upstairs living area is well provisioned, but we spent all of our time downstairs, as that's where the bigger bedrooms are and the access to the largest decks are. The decking could stand to be treated and a fresh coat of paint would help all around. Also, they need more (and better) chairs for the deck, and perhaps another table. As secluded as the neighborhood is, both your neighbors are on top of you and can see down onto the deck. Beach access is close by, and the walk on the beach is a must at low tide! All-in-all, great property.

Stayed Jul 22, 2024There is a sense of magic about this hidden neighborhood with its wooded setting, gravel roads, and inconspicuous exit off the highway. Once you take the final turn into the grouping of houses, you are met with spectacular 180-degree views of a sparkling Pacific ocean. The setting of this house could not be better. We stayed here with our family during July 2024 and the weather was perfect. The nights were cool, but the fog burned off by mid morning. The path down the road to get to the beach was an adventure, but after the first couple trips, the rock escarpment with rope was easy to maneuver. The home is spacious with lots of kitchen counters and most every appliance and utensil you might need. There were very sparse condiments so if you're planning to cook, you will have to bring your own unless salt and pepper is the extent of your spicing. Like the other reviewers have written, the carpet has seen better days, but we brought our dog, and I do not want to be on high alert every time she is in the house, so the old carpet was fine with this dog mom. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were also clean, so no issue there, but I do take umbrage with the mattresses. They are in dire need of replacement. If you have any aches or pains at all, please take this into consideration before renting this house. Even my 21 y/o college student couldn't sleep on these beds! I would stay here again, but only after the owners make a trip to Mattress Land!

Stayed May 17, 2024The Stunning Views aspect of the property description is spot-on. We had our pick of ocean views and sounds from the living room, dining table, kitchen, both lower-level bedrooms, and the two decks. This is the selling point for the house which had other great features as well. The kitchen was roomy for a few cooks with two sinks and two islands to work from. The cookware (e.g., skillets, spatulas, mixing bowls, serving spoons, etc.), however, was a strange mix-and-match. There was an over abundance of coffee cups but no official size wine glasses (so we contributed four after purchasing some in Lincoln City). The living room was very spacious with plenty of seating and a nice sized TV (although we spent most of our time on the decks). The lower level offered two nice bedrooms with attached bathrooms, sliding doors providing access to the deck, and full length windows offering the aforementioned spectacular views. There was also a common area with another full kitchen (but no kitchen utensils). The steep and narrow driveway could be tricky if you have a large vehicle but our minivan maneuvered it fine. There is a garage as well as a parking pad to the side of the driveway (which we used for a turnaround for backing into the garage). Overall, we enjoyed this property very much and would consider renting again if were available if we were to return to the area.
