Dog-friendly mountain retreat with private hot tub & well-appointed deck

Great location with plenty of parking. Private hot tub and deck with ample chairs and tables. Quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Idyllwild. Master bedroom has wonderful comforter and sheets, mattress was 8 out of 10 for comfort. Second bedroom has same sheets and comforter but a stiffer mattress, giving its comfort level a 6 out of 10. Showerheads in both bathrooms need a CLR cleaning due to mineral build up, shower pressure 5 out of 10. Wifi and streaming services worked great in every room. Temperature is well maintained by the thermometer an easily modified. Fireplace vents smoke well, no issues.

Need to update sofa, no support and uncomfortable. Need to replace Rokus (inexpensive (streaming stick is 29.99) and the ones in there are old, couldn’t do some of the streaming services because model was too old). No supplies/firewood/ provided, bring your own. Hot tub was nice addition. Comfortable and roomy overall. Fireplace is really nice. Big deck and front yard space. Vacasa communicated frequently.

Everything was ready to go and clean when we showed up. Loved the quiet location, but still close to the main town center. The beds were comfortable, as we have stayed at some places that the mattress is rock hard. The only thing that I would recommend is better wi-fi service, as it is slow, which makes it hard or next to impossible to stream movies.

House was clean and stocked. Our dog loved running around the yard and laying on the deck. It was very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful cabin like home in a rustic setting. It felt private and secluded yet we were only a few minutes away from great restaurants, stores, and the local market. I definitely recommend this place!

Great little place in the woods. The couch is a down couch, which was a problem for our friend who is allergic, but everything else in the house was good. Really appreciate how dog friendly it was.

This is a place where we spent time on the deck surrounded by trees and woods in a peaceful neighborhood. The walk to town was an adventure I’ll be coming back. I left it here.

The photos do not depict how close the neighbors really are next to you (especially when in the hottub) or behind you. The house was clean for the most part when we arrived. We have a Tundra and it barely squeezed in through the front gate. Location was tranquil, but too far to walk to the village, although the drive was 5 min or less. There is no cable but plenty of apps avaliable through Roku for streaming. Would stay here again without the kids.

The front yard was beautifully landscaped, and the deck created the perfect space for outdoor relaxation. Although the weather didn’t allow me to enjoy the hot tub, I still had a wonderful time. I would definitely love to visit again!

Lilacs, daffodils and a dusting of snow on the pines welcomed us to the Crow's Nest cabin. The location is perfect--less than 10 minutes from popular trails, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the eclectic decor, small functional kitchen, comfy beds and beautiful views from the windows and deck.

The location is great, with beautiful large trees, secluded and walkable to town. The cabin was tidy and clean, has an open layout with lots of natural light. The two bedrooms are large and the bathrooms clearn. The cabin has counter seating for eating, so we used the patio table and chairs on the deck. The deck is large with Adirondack chairs and a good place to sit and enjoy trees and watch the blue jays and robins. The hot tub was, unfortunately, unuseable as it had not been cleaned/serviced in quite some time. A previous guest must have used the fireplace, so while it was clean (no ashes) the house smelled of woodsmoke. The couch, as other reviewers have said, is uncomfortable. Overall it was a good experience, and a restful stay.

We had a great time at the cabin. Perfect location and just the right size for our family of 3 dog. Would love to return someday.

The Crow’s Nest is a storybook cottage: rustic but comfortable, woodsy but fashionable, quiet and private but also intown. Large beautiful deck! Hot tub! Fenced in yard! Working fireplace! Cozy beds! Cook-ready kitchen! A pleasure in every way. Plus, it’s in Idyllwild!

Loved our stay here. Super cozy place, easy to relax but could have easily hosted a small group too if we’d wanted.

The home was beautiful! Don't expect the spa to work (it looked like it hadn't been working for weeks). We received a phone call an hour before check in and I had to call back and wait 15 minutes on the phone line before speaking to a representative to hear this news. We were really looking forward to a spa, and this is something that they could have notified us about before the day of check in. This company sent me several texts about the rental before check in, so I would have expected a little more notice. Definitely put a damper on the weekend!
