Dog-Friendly Lakefront Home w/Fireplace, Stove, Lake View, Free WiFi, Deck

Great house for a large gathering of multiple families. Plenty of room for everybody to spread out. Easy walk to the lake.

We really did have a lovely stay because the people you’re with really make the trip. The house could definitely use some work though and, unfortunately, several maintenance issues impacted our stay. The back door was extremely difficult to operate—unusable for kids and older adults. Shower heads had poor flow, and the main floor toilet constantly ran, requiring manual fixes multiple times. Kitchen supplies were lacking: not enough mugs for 8 adults, only one usable cooking spoon, and the pots and pans were in unsafe condition with black flakes coming off. The dishwasher was unstable and would tip over when loading. Most concerning, the AC failed during 90°F weather, and despite repeated follow-ups, no one came to repair it until check-out.

Added communication through Vacasa as great. Location right on the lake was beautiful! Cleaning by the staff was fantastic and supplies provided were great. Beautiful house so much space, perfect and highly recommend!!

Location was great.

The property worked great for our group. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for all couples. One of the showers did not work but that was a minor issue. Would highly suggest cleaning the gutters before winter. Would have been nice to have the pine needles cleaned off the deck but overall very happy with stay and location. We would rent again.

Lots of space and a beautiful home. Multiple rooms and very comfortable. Garage was a nice bonus.

Was wonderful

My extended family and I had a pleasant time at this sizable Northwoods retreat. The property is set up for two families of four or three to four couples. The home is well equipped with appliances, TVs, and utensils. We enjoyed using the kayaks and canoes that the owners provided. One thing worthy of mentioning is that this property is intended For large parties with dogs on vacation. The carpet is clean but spotted. The garage is also cluttered with summer vacation gear. This may be a plus for families with small kids, but could be considered messy by people looking for something more refined.

This is our second stay at this house. It does not disappoint. Loved new bedroom downstairs. It’s clean spacious and lots of amenities. Will definitely be back!

Walked into house and immediately saw dirty nasty carpet with many spots in living room with sofas also worn. Not happy whatsoever. Otherwise, the rest of the house was very nice and updated. House has 4 levels.Nice to have bedrooms on 3 levels. Nice for privacy. Great fishing lake, kids reeled in fish constantly. Small quiet lake. Water was brown in color. Gas grill was never cleaned. Outdoor paddle boat and kayak were dirty. Spent a lot of time cleaning grill and outdoor sport equipment. Hate to give such a bad review but this is what we experienced.
