Dog friendly house with ocean view and entertainment walk to beach

Our stay at Lil Green was wonderful. The beds and bedding are very comfortable, the house is beautiful, and the setting was perfect. Close to trails, close to town center, but in a quiet corner with few neighbors. We had everything we needed, and really enjoyed the open layout of the house. The bedrooms are luxurious and private, with nice views. We already plan to go back for another stay!

Great view of the pacific ocean! Overall the place was nice, we were a little upset that we had to pay an extra $40 per night for pet fees (2 small dogs) and they obviously didn't use that money on the last tenants that had pets because the carpets were pretty bad with what appeared to be urine stains, also the blinds for the sliding doors downstairs were all busted so the privacy wasn't to good down there. Also the couch legs were broken, downstairs couch was filthy. Expected much cleaner and nicer for what we paid.

House was lovely as was the area.

The home itself is beautiful, and the view is stunning. The layout was great for our two small families, and the home has an overall comfortable vibe. That said, there are updates, light repairs and deep cleaning that could be done to make this home a truly comfortable place to stay. Pros - view, location, king bed (downstairs) was nice, great outdoor space, plenty of towels, kitchen was decently equipped Cons - lots of bugs in the home, rodent or something in the walls woke us up one morning, creaky beds, uncomfortable mattress in upstairs bedroom, crumby pillows, deferred maintenance throughout the home (chipped paint, broken locks, broken blinds, etc) and there were areas that were not up to cleanliness standards (other peoples hair in the shower, in the bedding, stained sheets, lots of lint build up in laundry room, etc). Overall we had a nice stay and the home is a good value for the price, just things to be aware of to set realistic expectations if you’re going to stay here.

Great view. Not on the beach. Lots of towels etc and fully stocked kitchen. Nice bathrooms. The carpet was gross and dirty beyond description!! Cobwebs on the walls.

The house itself was just okay. Not a place I would be eager to stay again unfortunately. The best thing was the view from the deck, which was spectacular. The kitchen was well stocked and it was in a good location for beach trips. Problems:The upstairs TV did not work properly.The backs on almost all the chairs were broken. It was very difficult to open the sliding glass door, the lock was broke, and the track was super dirty.The outdoor chairs were nearly rotted through, maybe people took them to the beach or left them out in the rain??? Turned the oven on to cook dinner and it was smoking due to oil burning on the bottom. The upstairs bedroom had a mattress that was as hard as a rock and pretty small for two adults to sleep in.

Pictures are false!!!! First off, View is spectacular!!! But place is super un down. Very dirty. Place needs to be taken off VRBO and have have some major work done! Carpet was absolutely disgusting. Deck had rotten spots and no stain like the picture. Mold growing in every window. Bring you're own kitchen supplies, Teflon peeling. Rusty kitchen items. Spider webs. Couch only seats 3 people. Kitchen chairs, all the backs are loose. Questionable stains and blood on a comforters and blanket. Food under bed. Spoiled food in cabinet and bottom of dishwasher. There's more. But this is enough. VRBO is wonderful to work w and customer service is great! Will rent from VRBO again! Just don't rent this particular place until it gets redone!

Beautiful house. Had a few issues but were addressed within a reasonable amount of time. The views of the pacific and the Rockaway beach. Cute little town with a awesome gift shop. We would stay again

We were super excited to get away for the weekend but there were so many things that need improvement in this house. Also the pictures online are old as there is no longer a blue couch and other things are changed. Pictures need to be updated. -There are barely any kitchen utensils which made it difficult to make any meals. They only had a 1/3 measuring cup and then tablespoons -We couldn't dry any clothes since the metal hose was sitting on top of the dryer. -The house reaked when we got there. -There was food still on the floor and the floors seemed to not be cleaned at all. -The blinds in the room with the king sized bed were missing more then it even had so couldn't shut them. -The downstairs bathroom was missing the toilet paper roll to put the toilet paper on so it had to sit on the window ledge -The dishwasher made a terrible sound every time you opened or closed it. Seemed like it was broken. -The stove was so old or outdated that you couldn't read any numbers on it to know what temperature you wanted so it was a guessing game. -All the puzzles had pieces missing same with the games. -It would be nice to have a baby gate for the stairs we could put in when childern are there. -The beds were so uncomfortable we could not sleep. -The bedding in the bunk bed room seemed to have yellow stains on them, I am not sure if it was pee or what. -There was many issues and I wouldn't likely go back.

There was no walk way to beach. The road is very windy and steep with no guard rails so it would be hazardous to try to walk road down. The view was spectacular and the ocean sound carried up so put us in trance. The locks are difficult to operate and the deadbolt needs to be installed correctly as it's not currently secure. The carpet upstairs has to go. I vacuumed the cushions in furniture because there was a landfill under cushions. Great layout of rooms. Loved having the full size washer and dryer though the dryer vent was not installed properly and the lint was substantial and leaking out of vent hose. Bathrooms were great. deck has some rotting areas with exposed nail heads. Don't walk barefoot. bring your own speaker for television as tv speakers were difficult to hear.

Nice new neighborhood the house was fun the house was real nice The view was absolutely gorgeous.
