VACASA gave us the code to get into the house. It didn't work. We went to the lock box by the garage. We couldn't get into it. After calling the VACASA number and speaking with an agent who gave us multiple codes to enter into the key pad on the front door. We still could not get into the house. The VACASA agent said that she would call a local person to come to the house whilst we stood outside in 28 Deg F. Thankfully we were finally able to get the lock box open. For future guests this is not a normal lock box. I tried to call the local Ludlow VACASA office to let the local agent know we were able to get into the house. That number went to a voicemail with a full mailbox. Finally VACASA's handyman showed up. He was the only useful person in this whole process. He could not get the key pad to work either and told us it had been broken, that there had been issues with it and it had recently been replaced. We let him know we would use the old fashioned door key for the remainder of the trip. The thing is, this is a lovely house to stay in and we have stayed there a number of times. The rest of the weekend was lovely and whilst the kitchen is not the best equipped kitchen if you want to cook, it has the basics.
Loved this house and property. Super cute and comfy. Really enjoyed a relaxing weekend at this house. We stayed in both nights because we loved it so much, hope to return again in the future.
Served all our needs was clean, very comfortable and we loved the fire in the evening. Also close to town and the slopes. Would definitely return
We would definitely return - comfortable, quiet and close to everything we needed.
We rented this place because we were having work done on our home and needed to vacate. We picked Ludlow because we are familiar with the area. It was surprisingly cozy, very clean and comfortable. It had a nice yard for our dog. It is in a very tight neighborhood so noise could be an issue. It was convenient to the mountain and down town. Kitchen could be better appointed for people that like to cook, better knives, pans etc. Overall good deal for the price.
Great place and backyard moments from downtown for family and friends to hang out for a week.
Amazing! We had a wonderful stay at Casa Okemo. The check-in process was smooth and the house was very clean upon arrival. We all felt at home right away! The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need. All little details were appreciated! Great outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. It’s great that dogs are allowed too! Ideal location to town with stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a VERY hard time finding the rental for several reasons: poor street signage in town, the bridge in the middle of town being under construction with no detour clearly visible in the dark, and no picture of the house taken from the street (just from the backyard!). The Inside looked cute. However, a dirty coverlet, entry doors that could not close, closet doors that could not open, and the inability to close the pocket door on the bathroom (no latch to grab onto) soured the experience. Otherwise, the rental was very nice.
The interior of this property was spotless . The choices in counters , appliances, floors , bathroom designs were very very nice . A nice setup - and everything was well thought out . JDS/ CT- aug ‘22
The property was very clean. The neighbors are lovely. The house and deck are great. The yard was large with lots of room for kids and dogs to run. We had a summer stay and enjoyed being able to walk easily to everything in town. Even in early August heat, the house stayed cool with windows open. Nothing but rave reviews from our family!
Loved the house and the decor. The atmosphere was great and the record player was fun to use. Friendly neighbors too
