it was so roomy the furniture was pretty worn out and uncomfortable but it was roomy and plenty for the kids to do
The only downfall was the second shower doesn't get hot hot and the hot tub occasionally leaked. But they were very helpful with any issues that arose. the price made us feel it was worth it. But I brought 4 kids under 8 and me and my little brother were the two adults so we had lots room to be people's lol. Way bigger in person it's the size of our house. Pool is not heated
I would recommend but yes we'll worth it
This house was awful. It had a terrible smell which they tried to mask by putting car freshness in the vents. There was only a few units in the house to cool it down but it did not cool the house at all so it was miserable to be in. There was a cockroach infestation. We killed hundreds of cockroaches and even had to buy bug spray to try and keep the bugs away which didn’t work. I tried to get ahold of the property owners but it went to the management company they use and all they did was say they made a note and would call me back but I never received a call back. I would never stay here again and I don’t recommend anyone else does either.
Well. I have a mixed review. Overall, I was able to deal with the rental. But, in hind sight I perhaps should have chosen a different venue. I am in my sixties, and two of my sisters traveled to attend my daughter's graduation. The house was perfectly situated close to campus and the airport. The advertisement showed a pool that was crystal blue and what appeared to be a spa section. When we arrived there was green algae in the pool, and it was obvious that hadnt been attended to in some time. There was also a distinct smell of mold, which seemed to be worse by the front entrance and the forward bedroom. Turns out the the water drain to the washing machine had become disconnected and we identified water pouring into the garage from the washing machine. Must have been an ongoing issue. We swept the water out of the garage and tried to clean it up as much as possible. That room also had dirty linen on the bed, which we didn't notice until it was time to sleep after flying all day. Found Clean linen after an extensive search in the cabinets in the garage. The rest of the bedrooms were clean and the beds are wonderful. We searched and searched but were unable to find a carafe for the coffee maker. Not being able to have coffee in the morning is a major issue for me, but my millennial daughter had someone in a car deliver coffee. We bought a French press at the store and dealt with that. There were a number of cockroaches in the kitchen, which caused a great deal of drama, but I have made peace with nature many years ago and understand that when in California, you deal with the local flora and fauna. I dont think that any came home with me. The management company told me via text that a pool person would be arriving the day after we checked in. A nice man showed up on Saturday, two days after we arrived, and worked very hard to get the pool ready for use. Unfortunately, we checked out the following Monday. I wish the pool servicing had happened before we arrived. Traveling all that way, and after a winter you can't begin to imagine in Anaheim, the pool was the major reason I chose this particular accommodation. I don't care if it is chilly, but green slime is a major drawback. The pool technicians were wonderful. Keep those new guys on the payroll. And after I finally found a person who was responsive via text, and I received a partial refund against the prepayment I made it was a nice time with family
The house needs some serious help in some areas- very little dishes for the amount of people- almost no plastic/kids plates/bowls I ended up buying cheap ones so my two little wouldn’t break the 6 bowls provided. Layout of the house was odd. The house def had some add one done which is fine but it was done very cheaply. The ac went out while we were there whoch was terrible! But taz the local Vacasa really came to the rescue with portable ac units for the bed rooms. We were able to manage the best with those - not without hassle but at least we could sleep. The central ac we were told to turn off while we were gone - seemed to be counter intuitive as it would have to work way harder to get to temp than if we were to leave it at a comfortable temp(69) in our case. The pool was not heated. And the “hot tub” is not a hot tub anymore. Kids still swam but they even got cold in there. I wouldn’t stay again the way that it is. Making. What they do on this house they should have an ac that can adequately cool the home without freezing up. And they should heat the pool. I needed to buy a few other items like a cheap spatula to flip pancakes. Just seemed to be disorganized and not worth the $
Plenty of space, very clean and comfortable. We had so much fun. There is a huge park at the end of the street with lots of kids. Very friendly neighbors with plenty of dogs being walked in the neighborhood! Beautiful pool! Well kept house and yard! We can’t wait to return again! Side note for the tired lil ones you can watch the fireworks from the backyard!
House clean in really good neighborhood
Pool was not heated (I had called a week in advance to request this). Spa/hot tube was freezing; never got warm and couldn't find controls (there should be instructions left out for this). Toilet water runs constantly and makes noises throughout the night often doesn't flush so will have to lid off back of toilet and manually flush). Pipes under house groan (loudly; enough to wake my wife up from a deep sleep - mostly noticed this at night). Any messages sent to host via mobile app or email were ignored. I had sent 5 messages over the course of two weeks leading up to the trip and never received a single response (I had to call; even then no apology). Do not offer means of virtual communication if no one is going to check these and respond. There were cockroaches in the garage and even saw one in kitchen. A bill from orcan pest control was left out on the table upon our arrival. Didn't see any bugs until Day 2 though. These are all easy things to fix, and once done would make this place much more comfortable for future guests. If done I'd consider coming back.
This was a very clean, nice house with ample room. Well maintained in a quiet neighborhood, and we were able to see the Disney fireworks from the house! It should be noted that this is too far of a walk to the Disney parks, especially with children, and guests will have to rent an Uber or Lyft if you don't have a car. It also should be noted that there isn't a hot tub. Supposedly the small pool at the end of the pool is a hot tub, but it was freezing the entire time even though I specially requested that it be turned on and requested that it be fixed during our stay. Even if it was hot, it is not an actual hot tub like we hoped.
