Nice home, enjoyed the fenced yard for the dogs, conveniently located. Would stay again.

Rockaway was a great place to explore the Oregon coast. We especially loved the Red Cedar Wetlands boardwalk. We visited the Tillamook Creamery, the Tillamook Air Museum and Mears Cape Lighthouse. We ate local and fell in love with the Sand Dollar breakfast pies at The Beach Bakeshop. We will be back!!!!

We really enjoyed the location of this property. It was right on the edge of the forest but close enough to the beach to walk. In the evening we watched bats flying in the backyard and a deer walked right up to the deck. One of the biggest reasons we chose the property is the enclosed backyard which was great for our dog.

We enjoyed our stay at Rockaway Beach. The house is relatively close to the beach, and close enough to hear the waves. New washer and dryer, stove worked well and the pots and pans were in decent shape. There are some minor repairs needed: upstairs shower has a drip and the shower curtains need to be replaced. Hopefully these get taken care of for the next guest.

Our family spent a week here, along with our dog. The house is within walking distance of town and the beach, but you should be aware that the road to the driveway is a bit steep. It's nothing an average adult can't easily walk but may be a hindrance to anyone with health or mobility issues. For one who needs to drive into town, there is a public parking lot just down the hill, and we found that it was never full despite our visit being in July. The house has a private, fenced yard with a fire pit and picnic table, which was perfect for family time after adventurous days. The house was clean and had most of the amenities one will need. We mainly spent time on the beach, but we also rode the Oregon Coast Train to Garibaldi, visited the Tillamook Creamery, and explored Hug Point and Cape Meares. This was a nice central location for all of these things. We recommend the Beachside Bake Shop, Barview Jetty Taqueria, and Crab Rock Pizza (in neighboring Garibaldi).

The house is perfect, outside area so relaxing with all the trees, and the fire pit was amazing. We loved being able to walk to the beach in under 10 mins, even if the street to the house is a little steep, and being right in the heart of town for food and groceries. Lovely little stay, I think we may have to move here!!!

Lovely little home. No real ocean view, but it was nice to sit outside with coffee in the morning, listening to the birds and the ocean. Bring any supplies you may need; coffee, salt/pepper/spices, specific items you may need. There are a couple of pots/pans/dishes/utensils. Anything else you need, you should bring. Tv was a challenge to deal with also. Extremely firm bed and toilet tends to run upstairs. Overall, it was a nice stay though.
