Sweeping valley views and bright mountain skies await at this secluded four-bedroom home, just 26 miles north of the New Mexico border. You’re surrounded by year-round outdoor recreational opportunities, including skiing in the winter and mountain biking, hiking, climbing, and national monument exploration in the warmer months. You’ll love the huge deck, offering wide vistas, a patio table, and gas grill for easy family cookouts. A four-season room offers those same views, thanks to a full wall of windows, and features a cozy seating area perfect for a cup of coffee or glass of wine, as well as a large dining room table.
Just inside, you’ll find the main living space. Knotty-pine paneled walls and ceilings, exposed beams, and a natural-stone backdrop for the wood-burning stove enhance that mountain-cabin feeling. The full kitchen offers plenty of counter space for mealtime prep, and the soft leather couch in the living room is perfect for snuggling up while you stream the latest release. You’ll find one of the four bedrooms on this level, with the remaining three upstairs, plus another four-season room offering that same spectacular view. After a day of exploration, head out to the deck and gather around the fire table to watch the mountain stars rise, but don’t stay up too late - you’ve got a full day of fun tomorrow.

Great views, peaceful, and nice horse properties.
Great setting and very quiet. A bit off the main road but easy to find during the daytime. We arrived after dark and was a bit more tricky to navigate at night. There is no AC so it was warmer upstairs. Overall very place with easy to follow directions for check in and out.
Although house had nice views and was clean, property was clearly on need of a fair amount of general maintenance. Would not recommend until fixed. No door knob on downstairs room. One of Upstairs rooms ceiling fan and light did not work at all and in fact appeared to have an electrical short. Upstairs claw foot bathtub completely broke while family member bathing. Water everywhere. Must be repaired. Lower bathtub drains super slow.
This home was cute and has so much potential, but it is not ready to be rented out. There are obvious renovations going on that we were not made aware of. Some of the closet doors were off the slides, the house was accessible to anyone because you can’t lock the house up and the downstairs bedroom has no door handle and my mother actually got locked in her room. There was also a mice problem. They ate through our food bags and left droppings all over the counters. You could also here them at night. The deck and balconies are adorable and the house does have a lot of potential, but it is not ready to rent out in my opinion. Especially for the price we paid.
If you’re looking for a fancy place to stay, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for lots of space and gorgeous views this is it. I think we may have been the first guests and there were items that need to be addressed before we would stay there again: -bathrooms sinks and tub didn’t drain properly - if you’re staying in the summer, know that there are no fans downstairs and in 2 of the bedrooms. It was quite uncomfortable in 90° weather -one of the bedrooms has no window coverings -one of the bedrooms had a ceiling leak so that bed was unusable -the garage door doesn’t lock -the TV only works if you cast from your smartphone A few great things: -large space -gorgeous views -private, quiet location yet close to town -full size washer and dryer
