Dog Friendly Home, Ocean Views Walk to the Beach

First time renting a beach house and it was a really nice house and u can walk to beach which isn’t far at all. Dog friendly place.

This was a great place to have plenty of room with the kids and get to walk to the beach then warm up in the hot tub.

the property was in great condition and the cleaning crew did a great job making it ready for my stay. the only issue was the hot tub was left unlocked and wasn't cleaned properly but when i called the rental management, they were prompt on coming out and fixing the problem and didn't even know they were there to replace the filter and a quick treatment of the water, withing a couple hours the hot tub was in perfect order, the beach access was close roughly a 5 min walk or 30ish second drive, the access point was a area to drive onto the beach, over all the stay was great, the management office was quick to respond after they got ahold of the local team (out of office on weekends so just call the 800 number on the front above the garage) i would recommend that if you are ADA or have issues with stairs, rent another property but otherwise definitly 5 stars for service and response!

This older house is well taken care of and was big enough for the 6 of us. PROS: Area for drying off the dogs (with towels provided) and a place for their water bowls. Bedrooms were roomy and the beds were comfortable. Good sized kitchen and family room. The kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was great. It’s a safe and easy walk to the beach. The property manager responded quickly to a problem.CONS: The gas fireplace didn’t work, even with the help of the property manager. There needs to be more flatware.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider rebooking in the future.

This house is older but has updates that make it comfortable. It was easy to quickly relax and feel welcome. I would definitely consider renting again since everything was very seamless. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and very short walk around the corner to the ocean. Although we didn’t go anywhere to eat in the area, there are restaurants within short walking distance. Plenty of space to park 2 cars in the driveway. Lots of extras we didn’t have the opportunity to try but we hope to come back during a warmer season someday soon!

We walked in the house and the smell from the smelly thing's was pretty powerful We had to open windows to get some fresh air going thru the house. We got settled in and enjoyed our first night. On Tuesday we attemptednto use the hot tub but it was not HOT! Sent a message asking if there was something I wasndoing wrong. Googled how to turn up tempturer no luck. So had some pretty sad girl's. The next day sent another message about hot tub maintenance guy called and went over to look at it. We wherebout site seeing. Never heard anything back from him so when we got home checked and it was up at 104⁰. Had happy kids! Other then that it is a very nice house and we enjoyed our stay.

I am a geologist and I generally look for houses outside the tsunami zone so I can relax on my vacation, and if that is an interest to you, this house is outside the tsunami zone. That being said, that's mainly why I chose this house. But as we got closer to the vacation date I got nervous about the negative reviews of the house. However, once we got to the house it was really quite nice inside. True, the main living space is on the second floor presumably to see the ocean view-ish, but I liked that. If you have someone with mobility issues that would be something to consider. The house is a block and a half from the ocean and a block from downtown, perfect for taking the kid to the beach AND to get ice cream or go to the excellent bookstore/Prehistoric. The back yard is a little weird, but my kid liked it. There is a fence to the west but not the east, there is a play structure that's a little wobbly, benches and a fire pit. The hot tub was maybe the worst part because it became gross like after the first use (fingers crossed no one gets sick). We followed all the rules, washed off before we got in stayed in for 10 minutes and by like day 2 it was cloudy (yikes)! There probably needs to be a visit from a hot tub specialist to look at the filter system. Not a huge deal to not use it. All in all, great stay, great location, we will definitely stay there again.

Overall the house was very clean, and very accurate to the description. The hot tub was great! There is a water ring around the waterline like it needs to be rinsed out, but the jets were clean and once it’s dark you don’t even notice. Each room has its own thermostat so it’s really nice if your party likes different room temps. There was not enough living room seating for the whole party, and it was uncomfortable but overall it was a very nice stay, especially for Christmas.

It was fine. Basic house, for the price. Only bad thing was the door lock getting into the house. It was horrible!!!! If my boyfriend wasn’t there to get us in, I don’t know what we would do. I’m not kidding, change the lock so people can actually get into the house. It’s crazy!

The house is beautiful and the hot tub was amazing and relaxing!
