The beds where comfy. The kitchen was good size but needs some more basics. The house needs a good vacuum, especially along the walls. We rented this house because it had accomodations for our dogs. But the fence had to many places to get out. Disappointed that the dogs couldn't be outside without a leash. The fenced area behind was too overgrown. With all the rain and taking the dogs in and out we had to use a towel in our car to keep the rug dry and clean as possible.
Area for dogs to play off leash.
The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space.
We arrived to a clean and welcoming home, a great place to relax after fishing and crabbing. While it is pet friendly and we did NOT bring our dogs, we found it pleasant that the house did not smell like everyone else’s animals that I am sure have been here before. It comfortably fit my wife and I and the kiddos, plenty of room to cook and games in the cupboards that the kids took full advantage of. There was plenty of room outside for us to turn our vehicles around and especially so hauling the boat. There was a perfect spot outside for us to cook our crab and clean up. Safe community and we will definitely be staying here again soon!
Great property. Would recommend if you need lots of space ?
House is in perfect location for our family weekend get away. House has everything we need. Thanks
While the home was not very modern or fancy it is a very comfortable home. It's large and roomy with very comfy beds which was a lovely surprise. Most rentals have horribly uncomfortable beds. It was a great location being right across from the bay with beach locations just a hop skip and a jump down the road. Clamming, crabbing, fishing, hiking, or beachcombing is all right at your fingertips. The neighborhood is not a wealthy area but the neighbors were all very friendly and gave us information on the best places to do certain activities. The property is fenced off with more than enough room for our dog to run and play and to set up a Croquette course. The owner is a very nice man who was also provided us with lots of good information. We really enjoyed our stay and will most likely return to stay in the future.
Very nice accommodations. Close to boat launch. My only complaint is that the dog 2 doors down barked all night, so I got very little sleep. If the dog could go away, I would recommend this property. As is, I would not recommend that anyone try to sleep here.. sorry, I know it’s not your fault, but it is a huge annoyance
We've stayed here before and will be here again in July. I love everything about this property. I would not change anything about it. I can't imagine coming to Oregon and not staying here. The only complaint is that the restaurants close early, so if you're a late eater be aware.
This property was a huge disappointment! The location was totally disappointing. NOT private - the property was surrounded by chain-link fencing - the main entry side the house was facing a mobile home park & the other side (where the 2-burner bbq was located) a neighbor with the geese & goat next door was sweet, but we didn't appreciate the noise when they were agitated... The house smelled musty. The master bathroom was gross & toilet seat was broken. When I opened a kitchen cupboard a huge smell of mold hit me in the head. There was a can of Raid bug spray by the fridge... didn't bode well with us... The rest of the house was equally disappointing. What more can I say? We were disappointed & discussed...
We only cooked a few meals here. And the house is outdated but it was very spacious and comfortable beds. We loved it and so did our fury friend. A small gated yard inside a whole acre you could close the gate up for dogs to roam. We loved it.
