Dog-friendly home by the beach w/ partial ocean views, free WiFi, & a fireplace

Super clean!!! Kitchen appeared well supplied. Manager responded to ceiling leak. Any beach house should be supplied with tissues/kleenex. Upstairs king bed mattress definitely needs replacing!! It would be nice if all the blinds worked. When trying to use the WiFi we kept getting a message: WiFi not connected to internet- unfortunately on the last night we discovered that the WiFi cord was not connected to the back of the router.

We arrived exhausted and could NOT get anyone’s help to get the door locked. Lousy lock not user friendly. Once we said the place was clean everyone ignored us. We waited TWO hours for a call back from VBO 7-9 pm and finally had to call them back. Then too late to go out! Also TV has about four remotes and no of us could get the volume to go up. Finally gave up. Location of home was excellent - walk to Pemenade. Great for large family … lots of beds! Very nice deck area we did not use.

We really enjoyed our stay , wonderful . There was more than enough room for everyone . Everyone had their own space with extra room left over. It was a great location and very walkable to beach and town . Thankyou !

Great location - close to the beach and walking distance to the Promenade. Quick drive to Cannon Beach and Hug Point. Overall the house was more dated than it appeared in the photos. Nearly everything was functional though (a few blinds wouldn’t close).

If you like lots of skylights this home is for you. Plenty of comfortable beds. Pet friendly. Friendly neighbors. Garage accepts 1 vehicle. Bicycles and beach equipment in garage. Plenty of pots and pans.

Location - location - location. Seriously you are 2 minute walk away from the beach and that was important to me for booking this property. The price was very good for size of house. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to use the iron maiden of back massage machines.Here were the issues told to Vacassa and I hope the next vrboer doesn't have these issue as they will be taken care of:Kitchen window - window trim coming off on outside, water will get in.Roof - Moss growing on it.North side of garage - bird nesting.Southwest bottom floor bedroom blinds not functioning down so neighbor can look in.Downstairs bathroom lights rusting.Kitchen has missing sheetrock in ceiling.Downstairs fireplace not functional with note.Laundry dryer had lint buildup from many other prior uses.Stains in carpet, stairs/upstairs landing. The carpets could use a deep cleaning.Stains on throw pillows upstairs bedroom.Small outdoor Webber bbq - empty small propane tank.Larger outdoor bbq - propane tank was already on low.Missing AAA batteries from TV remote in downstairs bedroomWhile these might seem trivial this is the start of the busy vacation season on the Oregon coast and the property needs some love. I'll watch future reviews and hope they get addressed.

We loved all the toys, dressup, and beach toys. It kept our 2 littles entertained. I dont know why the water heater was turned off, but you helped me figure it out.

We had an amazing stay. The house is spacious. There’s a lot of games for everybody to play. There’s a huge backyard.. we will be back

Wonderful property! Had everything we needed and was walking distance to the beach.

Overall our stay at this house was very comfortable. We loved that there was a closet with items for kids to play with, our little niece was totally taken with the fun items in there. We also appreciated all the helpful hints and signs left for us, it made everything easy. A few improvements: first the dishwasher is very noisy, a quieter one would be appreciated. Second, we were disappointed the fireplace in the living room wasn't operational. A gas fireplace insert would be better. Third, some level of cover over the back deck would make it more usable when it's raining, which happens frequently at the coast. Overall, we would stay there again.

Being close to the beach.

The location couldn’t be beat! This is a nice home, very spacious with everything we needed! Well stocked and clean, nice big deck to hang out as well as the cozy front porch area. The only issue we had was the downstairs shower not draining well, most likely an easy fix.

Nice property, close to the beach (walkable), and close to downtown. It was clean and very comfortable.

We loved the location and proximity to the beach. The included bikes were great. We used them daily to ride to the downtown area. The layout of the house was perfect for our family. We had a great stay!

We love the location, the layout of the home, the wonderful deck. I dropped the rating this time because the electronic lock system (which we used in prior visits with no issues) was really wonky and not working properly. Staff was responsive, but it was more of a bandaid. It needs to be replaced.
