Dog-friendly getaway with stunning ocean view, spacious deck, hot tub & rec room

Beautiful Property Marred by Poor Management and Privacy IssuesWhile the house itself is well-appointed, stocked and provided good space for families, our two-night stay for four families was unfortunately defined by significant disruptions.On our first morning, we were woken at 7:00 AM by six hours of loud leaf blowing and yard work. This was a major privacy concern; strangers were working within feet of our children, making it impossible to use the hot tub or the yard we paid for. Despite six hours of attempts to contact VRBO/Management, we received zero support or resolution.The following morning, a power outage left us in a cold home with cold showers and no backup power. While the local Vacasa manager finally reached out to coordinate an early checkout, the lack of a winter contingency plan (like a generator) was concerning. We wanted to love this stay, but the lack of communication and disregard for guest privacy during maintenance made it a disappointing experience. No one should have strangers roam around your family's personal space during a vacation. Privacy means a lot in vacation homes. Scheduling maintenance works while the house is occupied for guests is not at all the right thing to do.

We LOVED staying here. House is great. You can tell that children and dogs are welcome. Plenty of dishes and cutlery. Would stay again. Things to know:1. Fifth bedroom is a room over the garage. You get to it from walking thru a bedroom, crossing an outside walkway or thru the garage & then up stairs. It’s a large room. Probably the largest of the house.2. The two queen bedrooms share a bathroom. It’s at the top of the stairs, down the hall. 3. Jacuzzi We LOVED staying here. House is great. You can tell that children and dogs are welcome. The thermostat was hard to use, even with instructions in the house binder.7. The dining area sits 12 but not everyone at the table. And the light fixture over the table was hit by a few heads. 8. Great laundry room!9. Really appreciated the kitchen cabinets labels.10. A car is a necessity. Not much walkability.

This home is incredible, especially for large gatherings! All of our family members had very comfortable accomodations for sleeping and the layout of the house allowed for the whole family to comfortably gather togethwr while also allowing each guest the ability to have their own space for escape! This home offers the best of everything and the waterviews push it over the top to be the best place to stay in Blaine!

Close to the Semiahmoo resort and good family home

There were 14 of us (all adults) celebrating my parent’s 60th anniversary. Even though the weather was a bit rainy

Great. Gorgeous views. Appreciated all the towels and high quality linens. Even spotted whales from the deck!

Spacious, well situated and comfortable. Process was easy and communication with property manager was seamless.

Everything was wonderful inside and outside! Second time at this property and will be back for sure! Especially perfect for our three-generation family getaway what with two living areas and lots of games in games room and garage!

We came here with a group of girls for my cousin’s bachelorette. It was so nice to relax and hangout on the deck, in the hot tub, and by the huge bay bench in the living room! We had an amazing time and would definitely come back.

We had a reunion with friends to gather and relax. We had plenty of space to make and eat meals, do yoga, enjoy the spectacular views, and beach walks. We all loved the ambiance and decor inside as well. We would definitely stay again.

Conveniently located for lots of day trip options. Beautiful view in quiet area. Large house with all of the amenities. Would stay again if in the area.

This is a beautiful home with amazing views. It worked very well for our group of nine. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The backyard was great for our grandkids to run and play. The pool table and ping pong table were a real hit with everyone. This place could easily be a 10 except for the showers. In the upstairs hall bathroom we were never able to get hot water in the shower. In the downstairs bathroom there was no water pressure and if water was used anywhere else in the house there was only a trickle of water. We enjoyed our stay but every night there was lot of complaining about showering.

Large enough for extended family. Clean!! Kitchen well stocked for the best of cooks. Could use more dish clothes. Plenty of dish towels. Could use more wash clothes and various towels for bathrooms and hottub. Two bedroom lamps not working and needed a few light bulbs throughout but these are just housekeeping items. The home was perfect for our family of 14 ranging from 63 yrs old to 1 month old. Thank. You CSD
