A memorable vacation awaits you on Martha's Vineyard, and this two-level corner townhouse is the perfect place to stay! You'll have everything you could hope for with a shared pool, Har-Tru clay tennis courts, and the beach all within easy reach.
Located in the quiet Island Inn at Martha's Vineyard community just half a mile from the sand and Atlantic surf on the east side of the island, you can wake up to the sunrise. Drive about a mile up the coast to Inkwell Beach or into downtown Oak Bluffs to wander around, or rent some clubs and tee off at the golf course nearby.
When you need a break or if the weather turns, cozy up around the fireplace with a steaming beverage and discuss finer things. A fully equipped kitchen allows you to make delicious home-cooked meals you can all enjoy around the dining table. The kitchen includes silverware, plates, cups, cooking pans, and utensils. After dinner, you might turn on the flatscreen TV to watch a movie or step onto the deck to breathe some fresh ocean air.
Other amenities include shared washers/dryers, a picnic and barbecue area, as well as a firepit area. Tennis courts, plus racquets, and ball rentals are available at the Pro Shop. Tennis is available from May 15th through October. There is also a lovely on-site restaurant that is unaffiliated with the Island Inn.

Great location, nice pool, nice staff
It was very noisy and it felt like people were actually talking right outside your bedroom.
It was clean and the amenities are great. But unfortunately you can hear all your neighbors and there is a restaurant/club attached and it is so noisy. Hard to relax
First, the staff was great. The property itself was great - lots of room for families and dogs. Grounds are kept nice. We stayed in a dog friendly unit and it was very clean. Housekeeping did a good job - bedding smelled clean/fresh, no doggie hair, no doggie smell. Staff was always friendly and smiling. These units are not insulated. This unit is closest to the popular bar/restaurant which is all outdoor seating, lawn games, music, and gets loud at evening/night - it is VERY noticeable when you're in your unit until they close (it did not bother us). It's too far from town to walk but still super close. Staff uses the bus and pick up is right at the property entrance (we did not use bus). The details within the unit were very disappointing. Everything was done on the cheap. The walls are very thin- our bathroom towel rack fell off because the numerous repairs on it were not holding. The spiral staircase rattled every time you used it. The upstairs toilet rarely flushed properly on first try. All the seating furniture was old and worn, but it was also very uncomfortable. The headboard was coming apart. The lighting is insufficient throughout the whole unit, when there is no daylight. There is no A/C unit in the downstairs bedroom so it gets stuffy in there if you close the door (there is a ceiling fan). The kitchen does not come stocked with coffee filters, sugar packets, and other misc every day items so pack it or buy it. They do provide trash bags, paper towels and dish soap. There is no tea kettle (there is coffee pot). Some of the eating utensils were disgustingly dirty. I scrubbed anything before using it. There are pots for the stove top but they are horrible peeling & chipped Teflon. There are no pans to use in the oven -- so don't bother buying anything that is to be cooked in the oven (the office told me to use aluminum foil). The kitchen faucet doesn't work properly. My concerns were brought to the office attention. For the amount charged to stay here, on Martha's Vineyard, I would expect a bit more care into these types details.
We were very impressed with how well the Island Inn is run. The staff was great. Everything was very clean. Shuttle to town was a wonderful plus as was Nomans on site. We would highly recommend.
On a beach resort, this level of cleanliness is remarkable. Also the daily room service, made each day a fresh one. Very spacious Condominium... very roomy for two families
Great time at the Island Inn. We truly enjoyed the clean and well-kept amenities, the fabulous room, and the amazing staff. Great location with Nomans right on-site and so much fun!
The space was great and clean, the grounds were great, the staff was really nice and friendly... the only complaint - echoing other reviews - is that the walls a pretty paper-thin; feels more like bedrooms in a giant house rather than individual units.
Loved this unit. Perfect space for all of us. 4 stars instead of 5 because of a couple of maintenance issues in the bathroom with the towel bar and clothesline fixture in the bathtub falling off. The upstairs bedroom floor creeks a lot and is noisy to the bedroom below. The kitchen didn't have oven-safe pans/dishes or baking sheets. Other than that, it is a lovely upgraded unit and a perfect location. Will chose this unit again.
