Dog-friendly A-frame chalet close to hiking, skiing and fishing

Dirty house full of dust and pet hair, old never washed duvet in the bedroom on the 1st floor, blood!!! stains on the mattress on the 2nd floor where twin beds are. Torn chairs at the patio, greasy barbecue, greasy dishes, couch in the living room is with stains everywhere. This house was completely unprepared for the guests. Also, no shower wash/shampoo/soap. Our family had to leave next day - it was impossible to stay there. My husband got a bad allergy attack because of never vacuumed carpets… Communication is also poor!

Lovely home, cozy, relaxing and I feel at home. Clean, easy to check in and out. We had a nice time, hopefully we will come back soon . Thanks Vacasa and the owner for sharing his property .

Great stay! Quaint but comfortable, excellent walking with pups. Convenient to where we needed to be.

Please contact company that we booked through. House was not the best. The worst was a large spider building a nest in the sofa.

Excellent! Location was fantastic for Grandfather Mountain, Alpine Adventure and gem mining! Cozy and comfortable! Great for family with kids. I'd recommend this rental! Extra Special.

Held my very tiny after wedding lunch here and it was perfect 3 This place will hold a special place in our hearts! It was very clean and the location was great! It had quite a bit of parking as well so if you have a few cars or a bigger vehicle there is space.

Cute little house and neighborhood. Convenient to town, shopping, restaurants and activities. Fall foliage was just beautiful

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, spacious and well worth the price. I also needed handicapped accessible, and it was. I would definitely recommend this property and would rent it again. I hope this wonderful property survived the horrible storm, and everyone in this neighborhood are safe.

This was our first VRBO experience. From start to finish it was easy, friendly, and efficient. And when we got to the Loop Chalet, it was even better than expected. . Our property manager went out of her way to be sure that the baby items were there, a portable crib and high chair. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to do and we could walk to the lake and pool. We hope to make this an annual event, but stay longer next time. This place is priced fantastically for what it offers. The location relative to places to go is great, the amount of people it can sleep is great, the communication is great, the showers are great, the wifi is great, and so on. I don’t recommend the following, but we broke a cup and the property owner was cool about it. This was my first time doing a vacation like this, and I am very satisfied with the house we chose.

We really enjoyed the location of this home. Everything was in great working order and spacious. We hope to return again!

No issues, property as described, excellent communications with owner. Very convenient to pool and great location to area activities. Would stay here again.

There are a few repairs that need to be made but nothing that would stop our rental next year.

Our fourth stay at this property, we really enjoy ourselves here and we look forward to coming back.
