Welcome et in the heart of the Stiperstones, near Shrewsbury, this spacious five-bedroom home is ideal for walkers, outdoor enthusiasts, families, and groups looking to explore the Shropshire Hills together. With direct access to stunning walking routes, plenty of space to relax, and a hot tub to unwind in, it’s a fantastic base for both adventure and comfort. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too, making it perfect for the whole family.

You enter the house through a large utility room designed with outdoor living in mind. There’s ample space for coats, walking gear, muddy boots, and dog , along with a washer dryer and fridge freezer—ideal after a long day on the hills.

From here, you step into the spacious kitchen and dining area, fully equipped for group stays. The kitchen includes a Rangemaster oven, dishwasher, second fridge, and everything needed to cater for everyone. The dining table seats nine comfortably, perfect for shared meals after a day outdoors. At the back of the dining area is a cosy snug with a log burner, offering a peaceful spot to relax with a book or unwind in the evening.

Also on the ground floor is a shower room with toilet and a comfortable double bedroom (accessed via two steps down). This room includes a wardrobe and chest of drawers and works well for guests who prefer to be on a lower level.

The main lounge is warm and welcoming, featuring a log burner, comfortable seating, a table football game, and a dartboard—great for family time or relaxed evenings together. Two sets of patio doors open directly onto the garden, blending indoor and outdoor living.

The staircase splits into two. One set of stairs from the hallway leads to a single bedroom and a double bedroom, both with wardrobes and chest of drawers. The second staircase, accessed from the dining area, leads to two further bedrooms. Both are doubles, with one able to be set up as either a superking or a twin room. Please let us know your preferred layout at the time of booking, or at least one week before arrival.

Outside, there is plenty of parking, a large grassed area ideal for children and dogs, and a hot tub—perfect for easing tired legs after a long walk and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

If you would like a late check-out, we’re happy to offer this (this is subject to the availability of our cleaning team) for an additional fee of £65, up to 1 pm. After 1 pm, we will have to charge a further night's stay.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
