Doc's Cottage Lancelin - Ocean Views - Pet Friendly.

House had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Extra features such as outdoor heated shower to wash off from the beach, deep freezer, plenty of cooking utensils, games and books around the house made for a homely feeling for the stay with kids. Improvement that could be made is the back bedroom gets warm and very bright at sunrise and could do with darker curtains. Front porch decking needs some attention, many nails were sticking out due to aging wood boards being loose.

The property was clean and in a great location, but it is an old house that is in desperate need of repair. Its tired, very tired and the gardens have not seen a gardener in a very long time. To say that it doesn't resemble the online photo's is an absolute understatement.

Property is clean and well equipped, only downside was the room with the single beds, these definitely need to be replaced and also the 3 seater settee in the living room area. However unfortunately for us we were unaware that the annual dawn service was being held across the road. So, especially as the walls are not brick, it was a very early wake up on our holiday. Not what we were expecting or wanting. The beds were comfy and the house had everything we needed. The neighbours can also be a bit noisy.

This property is overdue for some maintenance. The ensuite tap was leaking and towel rail was broken off. Switch to fan in 3rd bedroom broken. A big sunken hole in the pavement that leads to the front door. We had a big water leak under the house that we reported straight away and nothing was done about it. The cottage itself is a lovely original quaint home, with a comfy cozy feel. The kitchen is well stocked for your self catering needs with plenty of plates, cups, glasses and big platters available for entertaining. The beds were comfortable and there were spare blankets on hand (it was winter when we stayed)
