Dock & Hot Tub at High Rock Lake Retreat

Was in town for a wedding-house was and stay was awesome!! Would definitely stay here again. Only thing I would suggest is to maybe provide additional blankets.

Everything was great. The hot tub was not very hot and we had to turn up to warm up before using and wait a few hours. My suggestions for future use is to have that already nice and warm for use. House and property was fantastic! So much to do for everyone - great for family and friends to hang out.

House was nice. Good communication with host on some minor issues.

Put slip covers on the couches if they are so concerned..Why they would buy white couches and put them right next to the kitchen table? The doors need to be readjusted…the master door would stick and cause the horrible sound trying to open it.Was lovely other than that.

This house was ok but the cleanliness left a bit to be desired. There were stained bed linens and a smell when you walked in. There was no internet or cell service. It is not great if you want to communicate with the outside world. There was also dead birds and a horrible smell outside so hanging out on the back deck area was not possible.

We had an excellent time, the house was clean and the owner was very kind to check on us from time to time and see how we were doing. If I needed to communicate with the owner he was very prompt to respond. The game room was a very nice place to hang out. I would definitely recommend this house!!

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Lake. The house had great indoor and outdoor spaces roomy enough for the whole family. The hot tub and game room were lots of fun. The kitchen met all our needs. The host was responsive to any questions. Our weekend was enjoyed by all.

The house was lovely. Lots of rooms, comfortable beds, a nicely appointed kitchen games to keep everyone entertained. The kids loved sitting in the deck talking to the wee hours and we all enjoyed floating in the water. The water was WARM… it was clear it hadn’t rained in a while because the water was low, but we enjoyed it thoroughly.

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We loved the location and the view of the lake. We were able to dock 2 boats - which made using our boats on the lake very convenient.

This was a new rental in the last year and a few things to learn. Owners did a nice job with the remodel. White furniture is not conducive to children( we covered the furniture with beach towels!). Kitchen needs some supplies that I am sure will be added at some point. Nice deck and downstairs covered area. The lake and dock was very disappointing. We had kids and planned the week swimming in the lake. Water was murky which could have been from recent weather, not sure about that. No ladder to get in and out and no boat tie ups for our pontoon boat. If you are going there to fish, you would be ok.

Very peaceful and the house has many games/lounging areas for everyone to have good trip.

We came down to get out of the cold and do some fishing. Great place right on the lake, very clean and comfortable.

The house has gorgeous views, is open with many rooms and beds. Our guys enjoyed the game room. Bring your own firewood and propane if you want to use the outdoor fire pits.

We enjoyed everything about our stay and plan returning for another family retreat.

Had a great time planning our year with co-workers. Quiet and charming location on High Rock lake!
