We had a good time. Was slightly disappointed that the listing stated an old geezer row boat and 2 kayaks. Which was why we chose this rental over others and the boat was gone & 1 kayaked had a hole so was unusable. Owner offered to bring another or repair but we bought an inflatable boat and had a good time anyway. Pictures made it look bigger but there was enough room for everyone and the lake access was nice. Definately a steep driveway lol. Quiet & peaceful just what we needed.

Everything was excellent about this property except the driveway was extremely steep.

driveway was difficult to go down. House was nice but a little on the dirty side. plenty of space to spread out and husband and grandson loved the fishing. overall we had a very nice time at this location.

Nice property One neighbor was an issue I know there was a recent storm so there were some issues outside A good property for the price and the hosts were nice

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Property was perfect for our needs with a covered dock for the boat, room for the dog to run and a nice home with newer appliances and a large grill with places to relax both inside and out.

This is our new favorite place. The house was clean and homey, the grounds are lovely, and we enjoyed the ease of having our boat in the private dock and coming back and forth. We will be back!

This was the third year in a row to stay at this property. We love the house and the covered boat dock. The driveway is steep but there are no steps to the lake

Wonderful family getaway! Family of 7 & we had plenty of room to spread out, have game time & meals around the table. Quaint bedrooms & well stocked kitchen.

This place is so private and very nice. Has everything you would need. The boat dock is a plus! The boat ramp is only 1.5 miles away at Dryden Boat Ramp. When water level is up you can leave your boat at the dock. Perfect for a family or for a girls trip! The host is AWESOME....she is fantistic to communicate with! Any questions you might have....she will respoind asap! We will come back again! Loved the place (otherthan the very very steep hill to get to it!) BUT worth it! Take your boat hitch off, or you will drag when going back up the hill!

The lake house came as advertised. Peace and tranquility on the water. Property offered plenty of land to stretch out on. Very private. Although the water level was low, managed to get in a swim. Nice area. Very much liked that it is dog friendly.

We stayed with friends and the place was perfect aside from the spider webs everywhere but it’s the lake so.

Lots of animals to see and fish to catch.

We enjoyed our stay in the lake house. It was spacious with a large desk overlooking the yard with deer, squirrels, and lots of birds. Beds and other facilities were great!

Our family enjoyed our time at this property. The renovations to the house were great and, while it was slightly smaller than we'd envisioned, it worked well. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc. where most homes do not offer these amenities. The host was responsive and helpful. I loved that the property was pet-friendly! The grounds and dock need attention. It is a large property, so plenty of space for dogs and children to play and explore. The deck spindles do not go all the way to the deck floor so small children and dogs could be injured or fall through. The dock does not have stairs, and a portion of the bumper was not attached; exposing nails. We were able to swim and fish safely despite that. The fire pit was great for s'mores but someone had burned cabinets and there were nails/screws and hinges in the dirt on one side. Again, we could safely use the firepit by keeping pets and people away from the side with the hazards. I brought safety issues to the host's attention; she was responsive and seemed willing to address them for future guests. The cove itself is beautiful and very peaceful - not much boat traffic and we enjoyed floating on the water and kayaking. The driveway is incredibly steep and I recommend checking your brakes before arriving - mountain-grade incline for certain. We could get up and down - we have four-wheel drive vehicles and the pavement was dry. If the issues mentioned are addressed, I will stay again! Great location!

The house is cute but outdated, lots of unfinshed projects going on. Definitely not cleaned to having guest standards. Heck, there a half eaten loaf of bread or something on the mantle that had definitely been there a while. We went on a grocery run the first night, then woke up to find mouse droppings all over the counters and floors the next morning. Mice running around all night getting into everything. Outdoor shower didnt work. One entire day of our vacation, two men spent there with us running cables for internet. Lots of boards need replaced on the sidewalk to the dock. I was expecting much nicer for the price I paid. Very disappointed, contacted the host about the outdoor shower and mice, was told to use the hose and they'd try to get the mice after we checked out.

Our family stayed here for a week and had a great time! The property had everything we needed plus more! We enjoyed fishing down at the rock just about every day and we loved the small jon boat and kayaks! The house itself was great and provided plenty of beds for the whole family and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the week! Thanks for a great stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away for a while!

It was awesome and secluded. We enjoyed it there and would use it again. Having the boat dock was great I didn’t have to pull my boat in and out all weekend. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay. We saw deer every day along with other wildlife. The house is away from others so you have privacy. The driveway is a little scary but you get used to it. I would stay here again.
