DISCOUNTED RATE First Week of June! DEEP WATER, No Wake Cove, Large Dock.

The photos didn't do this lovely lakefront home justice! WAY more spacious than we could ever have imagined. Between the easy walk down to the dock for some awesome fishing, to an evening playing pool or watching a movie on one of their many TV's, we had a wonderful time. The view of the lake is lovely, and not located on a super shallow cove, we just wish he had more time to sit by a fire in the fire pit. We were pleasantly surprised with the access to the dock with a combination of a cement walkway and tree decking. Wonderful Birthday weekend with longtime friends. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

The location is perfect if you want a lake house off the beaten path down a gravel road. The view is lovely, the fishing and swimming were ideal with a pristine lake. Communication with the owner went well as we had a breaker issue with downstairs lights that was quickly mitigated. Main complaint was big ants in both kitchen and bathroom. Not one or two, but many. There were also spiders and webs and a noticeable amount of stink bugs scattered throughout out the house. Would have been nice to get a warning of new house construction next door which started banging at 8am sharp Friday and Saturday. Overall a great place to stay if the bugs and construction would be eliminated.Note: No towels, shampoo or soap provided in bathrooms.

The host, Theresa, was phenomenal from the very start, great in communication and working through the details. The house was ready on check-in day a few hours before the official check-in time and they allowed early entry, which made it nice and the timing worked out great. The house was great, the kids loved the lower level basement/game room! The fire pit was great and we used that often with the colder temperatures. The kitchen was good and had all of the cookware needed to make some good meals. The house is on a very quiet cove so you really felt like you were away from the main parts of the lake and it was very quiet and relaxing. Overall it was a very nice stay and I would recommend this property for your next stay on Smith Mountain Lake!

The host was welcoming and very responsive. They answered all our questions and were very helpful to let us know what we would need to bring. We stayed here to host our family for Christmas as we are currently building in the area and don’t have a lot of space for everyone at our temporary housing. The house was spacious, clean, and well kept. The kitchen had everything you could need. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting the Moneta area. The sunsets were gorgeous and the view was amazing and relaxing.

The house was very accommodating and was perfect for our week trip to SML.

My husband and I stayed for a few days in the off-season, we just needed some peace to decompress, and that's exactly what we got! Our host was extremely responsive, answered all our questions within a few minutes, and also sent over a TON of information to make the most of our stay (restaurant lists, things to do, maps of the area, a list of household items, etc.) Super easy check in, the house has absolutely everything you need! We loved the big dock, kayaks, firepit, eating breakfast out on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake...I grew up going to SML and this location was premium - deep water right off the dock, a quiet cove but easy to paddle out on the kayaks if you want to! I messaged our host about returning next year with our kiddos before we even checked out. If you're looking for a perfect rental, stop your scroll and book this one! Clean, cozy, and gorgeous!

The house is beautiful and it's huge and very clean inside and outside. All of the rooms has everything that you would need. Beautiful lake views and sunrise and sunset views. Amazing dock for a great fishing trip. Owners are extremely nice and answer back immediately. Would love to stay here again on future vacation rental trips. Thank yall for letting us stay and enjoying the peaceful, happy, joyful experience:)

I have a girl’s weekend at this house every year. We love it! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, the host is super responsive and helpful, and the view is amazing! We love the fire pit with tons of fire wood also.

This property is just as described. Very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. The view is beautiful from the spacious deck. Very easy access to the boat dock. Swimming was fun! If you have a very large family you really need to stay here. Yes I would stay here again. Host is available and helpful.

Very much enjoyed our stay here. House was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. Really enjoyed the beautiful cove and easy lake access. The private dock is very large and in great condition. We had no problem mooring our 20' boat during the duration of our stay. Docking was easy and the water is nice and deep. Great communication with the host. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful place. Clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable! Walk to the lake was a gentle slope. Had a 14 mo boy and a 4 year old boy. They absolutely loved it. Loved the no wake cove and paddling around in the kayaks and canoe. Enjoyed the fire pit on our last night there! Sunsets - amazing! The water is a mirror and was so warm. Perfect for swimming! Loved the decor. So homey and warm. Kitchen was great for cooking. Well stocked with utensils, pots and pans. The host was so very hospitable and responsive when we had questions We would definitely recommend this home. We are hoping to come back sooon

Great house in a nice quiet location. The dock was great for fishing and hanging out most of the day. We used the canoe and kayaks each day and there was plenty of space getting into and out of the boats right off the dock. The house was very clean, the kitchen was great for preparing meals, and the grill worked great for dinners. My son really enjoyed the air hockey and pool table for those few hours we weren’t enjoying the beautiful lake. The kids also loved feeding the ducks that visiting us daily, and looked forward to the evening ice cream boat visits. Great spot that we’d love to visit again in the future. The owners were very responsive and really nice to talk with too!

Beautiful lakefront home with everything you could want! The house was very clean, nicely decorated & furnished, & very comfortable. Tons of space indoors & outdoors, with the spacious deck & lower level game room being great bonus areas. Set in a quiet no-wake cove made for a perfect swimming & kayaking spot, with great views. The dock was very spacious for lounging & convenient for docking our boat for the week. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could want or need. It's a shame that the county/township restrictions limit occupancy to 6 people because this house is perfectly sized for a slightly larger group (we only used 2 of the 5 bedrooms). Having a refrigerator in the kitchen, game room, & on the dock was such a nice convenience. The Ice Cream Boat came into our cove every evening so be sure to listen for it & wave him over to the dock so you can get treats! The owners were great to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again!

Really nice home on a great location on the lake. Quiet, deep swimming area but easily accessible to the main lake. Dock area was very spacious with lots of furniture. Beds and linens were all very comfy. It was great having the entire pantry available to store our supplies and two full refrigerators to keep our food and drinks cold. Also, there were LOTS of dishes, glassware and silverware, so we didn't have to run the dishwasher after every meal.

We have stayed at the Lake house for several years and always enjoy the peaceful view from the upstairs and downstairs decks and the dock. We also love the kayaks and the fire pit—great memories with good friends. The owners are always gracious and kind. This place is a wonderful getaway for friends and family.

We had a wonderful time at SML! It was relaxing and beautiful. The host is helpful and responds quickly to all messages.The house is spacious, clean and comfortable.I would love to come again for longer stay!!

We returned to this house for a second time- plenty of space for adults and teenagers to enjoy themselves together or separate. Downstairs game room and bunk room is perfect for the teens. View from the dock is breathtaking- we spent several hours there reading and enjoying the water. We will be back for sure!

Great communication with owner, flexible, and the house is outstanding- plenty of space, great outdoor living area and the dock is easily accessible and in great shape. 5/5 and would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I, and two other couples, stayed a long weekend at Challenge Accepted. The house more than met our expectations. There was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space, but also room for all six of us to watch a movie together. We spent as much time on the deck enjoying the view as the weather would allow. The walk to the dock was easy, and I would have loved to have had a fire in the firepit, but it was too windy. The property was clean, well-stocked, and the owner was very responsive. We highly recommend it and will stay at Challenge Accepted again!

Terry is so responsive! This is our second time staying at this property and to say we love it is an understatement. The dock and fire pit keep the kids busy 24/7. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we need And the house is just so perfect. We hope to return again.

This property was clean and exactly as described in the listing, it was very peaceful & relaxing and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil and appliance we would need. We enjoyed kayaking in the cove where there was a no wake zone. Would definitely use this home again and highly recommend to my friends.
