The beach house was advertised- we loved the location, right on the beach with direct beach access and walkable (half mile) to all the shops and restaurants on Flagler! It was a great space for a multi-generational family trip. I would stay here again.

We sincerely enjoyed our recent stay at the Whale House at NSB. The layout of multiple sleeping options and the wide open, comfortable common area was perfect for our large family, week long celebration. Additionally, the provisions were even better then explained or expected. Finally, the host was incredibly caring, responsive and understanding of the needs of our perfect stay. Initially, I was slightly hesitant due to what I felt was a high expense, but once there, with the comfort, provisions, beautiful large outdoor back porch, literally stepping onto the sands of the beach - it was worth every penny and perfectly priced! Several previous reviews noted slightly outdated areas of the home and/or older furnishings/appliances. We actually found this comforting and slight. We felt we could relax and enjoy an at home leisurely comfortable stay and focus on each other instead of a stuffy environment. All 13 of us - from the age of 2 to 64 - had a wonderful time and never felt on top of each other. Several had to come and go throughout the week and found it a joy to return. I highly recommend this home for it is very comfortable, spread out, quiet and perfectly located.

Terrific, house view and ameneties!

Location was terrific, loved the beach. Home was fine, it certainly accommodated multiple people. The home had some dated features, but I would rent again!

First, the house is on the beach so that we can wake up to sunrise every morning.Second, the house is large enough that the 11 of us can be together in the main room and kitchen area, or we can have sufficient space for time alone in the large, well-furnished bedrooms.

Beautiful home for a large family. We had a lovely time here. As central FL locals who truly love New Smyrna Beach we wish the owners had window coverings for their ocean front windows for the turtles at night and in compliance with Volusia county law. “Turtle glass” filters some of the light and is a great first step, but alone is inadequate for compliance with law and inadequate to fully protect the endangered turtles who nest at night on the beach. This house is the brightest on the beach at night in this area; it’s disappointing. There are window coverings on the first floor, but no directions to use them starting at 9pm, so renters from out of town will not know. Perhaps cellular shades would not obstruct the stunning windows in daytime. Truly the view is unparalleled in the day!

The location and parking were great. It was close to shopping and restaurants. The house was adequately stocked with dishes and linens. There were a few areas of the house that could have been cleaner but overall it was acceptable. The whole family enjoyed our vacation in NSB.

This beach house accommodates our large family perfectly. And we love the close proximity to Flagler.

Right on the beach, house is great size with a space downstairs for the teens to hang out. The kitchen has everything we needed. The house is a little older, but in good shape inside. We hope to visit again!

Overall a great stay, highly recommend! There were a few hiccups (WiFi modem/router wasn’t working and we needed to have a new one mailed to the house; the owner was great about arranging everything for that!), she got back to us very quickly! A few maintenance needs, but nothing that significantly affected our stay. Great views from the ocean-facing windows!

The house was perfect for our extended family vacation. Access to the beach was great, loved the patio and rocking chairs, and appreciated a fully stocked kitchen. Also had a one year old with us who just learned to walk so we really appreciated the baby gates at the top of the steps.

We checked in without and problems everything was clean … great location .. would recommend … and stay there again Great host

Family of all ages enjoyed our stay. Great location, nice house, amazing views from the house. Excellent communication with property managers. It was our 2nd time visiting.

This property was perfect in spacing and is my favorite location on New Smyrna Beach. We all enjoyed the access to the ocean, walking to the jetty, Breakers and Flagler Avenue.
