Direct Gulf Access, Spa and Heated Pool - Villa Poseidon's Passage- Roelens Vacations

We had an awesome time here! The place was very clean though bathrooms are kind of outdated, but clean. We had some drain issues in kitchen sink and extra bath and tried to contact the prop mgr but never really got a response, we made due with a plunger but had to keep using. The outdoor area was amazing Abs the pool and jacuzzi were fabulous and definitely made the week worthwhile. Overall the place had a super layout and was updated in other parts of house and decorated really nicely throughout! Close to grocery and liquor stores! Cool burrowing owls next door that had babies, too!

We enjoyed the house. We live the outdoor area as we spent most of our time at the house outside. The bathrooms could be updated but were fine, just not as updated as the rest of the home. The pool table was a nice bonus too. Overall we would recommend this house to anyone looking to rent in that area.

The property itself was great, as advertised. We did have a couple of issues throughout our stay with the pool heater and then one of the air conditioning units. We tried contacting the property through VRBO a number of times with no response. We eventually were able to connect with someone and they came out in a timely manner and had experts (ie pool company) out shortly but unfortunately it took about 2 days of trying in order to get a hold of someone initially. Pool was great, location was great, quiet street, just wish fhe communication would have been stronger to address our issues throughout our stay.

We loved the outdoor living space! We were outside most of the time and enjoyed the pool, dining and lounge space. The property also made available beach chairs, kayaks and bicycles! The kitchen had all needed items and an outside grill. Our only concern was getting a repair person in only a timely basis for a few, minor repairs. However, I think it is just a sign of the times where it is harder to get repair service. This did not detract from our trip.

This is an older home that has some maintenance issues. In the pool area there are some broken tile that has been poorly glued back in place. The door leading from the screen room to the canal was broken, it didn't lock or stay shut. This is a liability for people like us with young kids. The chairs on the outdoor dinning table are old and the springs don't work on half of them. causing the chairs to lean back far quickly almost feeling like you are going to tip over. The grill was a mess with no grill brush, we ended up buying one and cleaned it for them. There was a door leading to a bedroom where the handle fell off trying to pull the door closed. The water continued to run in one of the toilets adjacent to two bedrooms, we had to shut the water off so people could sleep. There was nasty grime built up on the wall behind the waste container in the kitchen. There were broken shelves in the refrigerator. There was a glass in the cabinet that was broken on the rim with a sharp point that could have ripped someone's lip off. There were broken utensils. There was a cabinet under the sink that was broken and hanging off, it was completely nasty inside. There are no bureaus/dressers in any of the guest bedrooms. Its too bad, the house is older however a few maintenance repairs and and a thorough clean this could have been a perfect review. I did email the company and they stated they would talk with the property manager. They never once offered to fix anything. In all fairness, the rest of the house was clean, the beds were comfortable and we did enjoy ourselves as we spent most of our time on a boat we rented for the week or at off site restaurants. We booked to visit Cape Coral again however now that we know the areas we chose a different house that is not located directly off of a very busy Parkway.

The house is beautiful well maintained in excellent condition. The only issue was we had 8 adults and ate dinner there a couple nights needs more room for garbage garbage is picked up on Monday by Friday its full with nowhere to put it. With that said the place is beautiful would highly recommend it to anyone.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this house. The house was very clean and had everything that we could possibly need to enjoy our vacation. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and my kids especially loved the swimming pool, dart board and pool table. The location is pretty central to beautiful beaches, restaurants and shopping. We would definitely come back!

We rented the property for Memorial Weekend. Everything looked great. House was fully equipped with everything you may possible need. Our family had a great time while there. House is located in a great neighborhood and store nearby. We brought our boat to use the boat deck but couldn’t use it since they have their own to rent. But we managed by using the nearby boat ramp when needed. The only two problem we had was when arrived there was a funky smell coming out the garbage and both trash bin were nearly full and we had the house for almost a week. We ended up taking some trash with us since there weren’t any space to leave them. After our check out, couples days later I received a charged in my credit card. I tried to text, email and even phone to try to find out why the charges and why We weren’t notified or contacted first, but never received a respond. Other than that this home is very comfortable and well prepared to have some great time with the family.

Our family enjoyed staying at this property. The layout is open and was perfect for our family. The house was clean. The only suggestion is to upgrade or contact the internet/ cable provider as we had trouble with all Xfinity TV’s, hit or miss. The management company was ver responsive and willing to help!

This place was the best place for our family of 5. Kids got to swim to their hearts content and my husband didn’t feel pressured to swim all day if he didn’t want to. Beautiful sights up the canal, friendly yet quiet neighbors, and all the necessities to make this place feel like your home away from home. We’ll be coming back again!
