Direct Bayfront - Amazing views and wildlife viewing in Fort Morgan

Loved the property, it was clean and quiet, far enough away from the hustle and bustle tourist area yet close enough to drive to what we wanted! My husband loved fishing off the pier early in the morning and late in the evening. It was very well stocked with anything you can need or want. The only thing that was somewhat negative was the bedroom with the bunk beds, it is only big enough for that, there is no nightstand or closet and hardly any room to move in there. Can be a negative b/c there was no room for any luggage to even be in there. Not a big deal if you have littles but could be if you have teenagers, especially girls, who like to pack their room to bring with them! All in all we highly recommend this place with a great host, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a good stay overall, but there were a few things that could definitely be improved. There wasn’t really anywhere to put clothes—no luggage stands, dresser, or any hangers—so we ended up having to keep things on the floor or on the closet shelves. The closet doors also didn’t open all the way because of the bed, which made it hard to use. The bathroom closet wasn’t a good option either since it got really damp from the shower.The kitchen also wasn’t very well stocked, which made it a little difficult when trying to cook. Limited on dishes and cookware. The bunk bed room is extremely small—basically just enough space for the beds and nothing else. It felt more like a closet than a bedroom.The dock is really small and hard to fish from, especially with the larger docks right next to it. Very pretty views though. The shower curtains were also really light and didn’t stay in place. The air vents in the ceiling blew them in the shower which made showering uncomfortable because they stuck to you. The living room, kitchen, and bathrooms were a nice size. Deck was nice, more outdoor seating would have been nice. The bedrooms are small, beds are very firm. The house was clean, newly updated, and the grounds well maintained.

My son and I had a great stay. We fished the whole trip and this was in a perfect location for that. We were right down the road from Fort Morgan Beach and about 20min from the Gulf State Pier. There’s a nice Market Dollar General about 3 minutes from this property that was very convenient for food, ice, snacks, etc.

Really nice place! Lots of butterflies and bees in the yard and a porpoise!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location for us. Only suggestion would be better pillows, but overall it was a wonderful trip and we’d book again.

We enjoyed our stay. Location was great! Visited Fort Morgan, the beaches, rode the ferry, & shopped all over. The house was right on the bay which was nice to be able to see all the wildlife.

We had a wonderful visit! Perfect for 4 adults. We shopped and ate locally so only went 7 miles to do everything we wanted on this trip. House was so clean and beds were very comfortable. Beach access was very close.We all loved it!

We had the best time! This was a great beach house, tucked in off the road and close to the water/dock. My husband fished every morning, we saw dolphins multiple days and slept great! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Our family of 6 (parents and kids 15, 13, 10, and 1) had such a great time here! The home was clean and kitchen had everything we needed. The living area was so comfortable and we loved being able to see the water through the big windows. There was lots of storage space in the closets. We were close to the city if we wanted to go there but also close to the serene and tranquil beaches if we wanted to stay away from the crowds. We were so happy we brought our binoculars to be able to see the wildlife in the water and the air! It would have been helpful to have towel racks in the bathrooms for wet towels, but it didn’t affect how much we enjoyed ourselves. Definitely would recommend this location and will consider it next year if it’s available!

We came down for a wedding and needed somewhere for our extended family of 7 to stay. This property was perfect! It was very clean and had cute decor. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife. The outdoor shower was great after our family went to the beach so keep sand from getting everywhere.

We stayed for 4 days. A couple things we could have notified the manager on however we didn't want anyone coming in while we were gone. The main bedroom shower didn't drain well. Needs drano for sure. Temperature of the house was great. Loved the deck and seeing pelicans, and a dolphin. We didn't eat out much so would have been nice to have a few more dishes so we didn't have to wash so frequently. The TV in the living room - we couldn't get to work even after rebooting the router a few times. The manager said they had had a power failure the week before we got there and she could send the repair man to look at it, but we passed on that. The other TV's in the bedrooms worked fine. A couple things that would have been helpful to have are beach towels as we had to use the regular ones in the bathroom when we went to the beach. Another suggestion - lawn chairs would have been great to take out and sit on the deck. Overall experience was good and we enjoyed the area and our time there. Thank you. Alicia and family.
