Dillon, Montana
Historic hotel in the heart of southwest Montana. Dillon is a small town rich in history with world class trout fishing and hunting only minutes away. Conveniently located above the Dillon Tap House. The Dillon Tap House features craft beer and wine from around Montana and beyond as well as elevated bar food. Completely remodeled three years ago and within walking distance of museums, local custom shops and night life.
It’s more like a hostile than a hotel as everyone shares one bathroom. Also, there was a domestic dispute in one of the rooms at 4am, and we could hear everything. Not impressed.
Good for a budget stay. Bed was comfy and an ac unit in the window was available, however the curtains had to be open in order to actually feel the ac, which lets the lights in from nearby businesses. The owner was very generous and gave me an upgrade to a room that wasn't booked for the night so that was a plus!
Love the Old Hotel History. One bed had old saggy springs. Annie was a great Hoestes.
This is a well-maintained property with easy self-check-in. The shared bathroom was always available and clean. The parking is on the street but there was plenty of room. The beds are comfortable. Travelers should be aware that though the listing appears connected to a restaurant it only serves pizza. Also, on a Thursday night, the pub was extremely loud. This did not last late into the evening and didn't bother us, but could be a problem for some. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It looks like there might be some late breakfast or lunch restaurants available on foot, but to get an early breakfast or late supper you probably want to drive.
The property was very quaint and charming. In the heart of downtown Dillon, walking distance to restaurants, shopping and nightlife! Would recommend!!
We went to Dillon Montana to hunt, need a place to sleep at night. It was exactly what we needed.
Downtown location- easy check in. Great communication
Although this being the cheapest one in town is definitely not the cleanest or the quietest. TV box didn’t work, Tenants next-door argued the hallways made lots of Noise. The one tenant did laundry till 4 o’clock in the morning. The doors to the outside hallway have a huge vent that let every bit of noise that could happen come through so it was very loud. if you intend to take a shower in the shower that is not attached to the room bring flip-flops because the tile seams and everything are disgustingly gross and dirty. As it does say the taphouse below may be loud at night that is the only thing that wasn’t loud. This was a very bad experience never will rent this VRBO again good luck
It was just right for what we needed. You do have to share a bathroom. Amd there is no microwave and fridge in room but its clean and greatly priced.
