Stayed Jul 7, 2024A beautiful property located within a wineyard and surrounded by stunning countryside. Hosts were kind and generous with fresh eggs and oranges too. A fantastic holiday.

Stayed Jul 21, 2018We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. The property felt spacious for our family (2 adults & 1 teen) and we enjoyed relaxing in the garden and by the pool. The owner very kindly left 2 bottles of wine from her vineyard and baked us a delicious desert. There is a small town no more than 5 minute easy walk with a bakery and small shop for basic items. The property felt very safe and secure and we were not disturbed by noise/neighbours. The owner and her family are available on site if you need assistance, and were very friendly. My only suggestions are that I recommend the cleaner gives the fridge a decent scrub with a bottle of bleach! Also, there were quite a few cobwebs inside, but maybe we were the first guests for a while. Finally, I think the bathroom ceiling needs a little work as the paint above the shower in one of the rooms is peeling. All small niggles, that didn't detract from our enjoyment. If you are looking for a safe, relaxing break in a quiet location then I would recommend.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I got lost trying to find the place having driven all day to get there, so the contact Orlando drove down and met me at the firestation in Ponte De Lima. I really cannot fault the house, the garden, the pool, the utter charm of the place, I travelled with my 3 boys aged 7 + 10 + 12. The house was spacious and cool in the heat of the day. The house was full of rustic charm, lovely touches and the beds very comfortable. The pool was cleaned everyday, and well placed for the sun's aspect, deeply inviting. The kitchen was both large and well equipped though to be honest, we ate out most evenings, as there are plenty of places to do so in Ponte De Lima a hop drive away. Ponte De Lima itself is lovely, friendly and historic, not frequented by many beyond Portuguese and Spanish tourists, which adds to it's appeal. The local restaurant (a short walk) was also charming and friendly as well as great food/value. We really did drink fresh orange juice from the trees, and the chimes from the nearby monastery filtered through our days there in an almost idyllic way, if I could return tomorrow, I would, it is a wonderful little place, utterly charming. We left feeling we could have stayed much longer, so hopefully next time, we will. Thanks so much, Adam
