Stayed Dec 24, 2025Interior Matches Listing, but Safety and Location ConcernsThe interior of the home matched the listing photos and was clean, well maintained, and well furnished. However, the surrounding area differed from the expectations set by the listing description.We booked this property for the holidays based on its description as a “Delray Beach retreat.” The home is located in the Swinton Avenue/I-95 corridor.During our stay (less than 24 hours), we observed the following:• Surrounding properties: Multiple nearby buildings appeared unoccupied or boarded up. Several adjacent properties showed signs of disrepair and limited maintenance.• Pedestrian infrastructure: There were little to no sidewalks on surrounding streets, limiting safe pedestrian access and walkability.• Street activity: Groups of individuals rode dirt bikes/motorbikes at high speed on the street throughout the day and evening. Loud music from passing vehicles was frequent.• Police presence: Police activity was observed approximately three blocks away related to a reported armed robbery at a nearby store.• Noise events: Loud bangs were heard around midnight during the stay, sounded like fireworks.Guests seeking a walkable, quiet, or traditional vacation-style Delray Beach experience may want to research this location in advance before booking.

Stayed Apr 23, 2025House has been renovated and is beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. Easy layout. Master bedroom is extremely spacious with a wonderful his/her bathroom. Additional two bedrooms and another full bath in between. House was stocked with basic essentials. The house was perfect for our short stay!The house did not provide any necessities for the beach. We had to rent chairs/umbrellas.
