Our stay at Casa Desideri was an absolute dream. My husband, 22yo daughter, 18yo son and I stayed here for 4 nights after spending 3 nights in Venice (took the train from Venice to Florence and rented a car), and we loved every minute! The views, the decor, the spacious rooms and wide-open windows and doors on every side were exactly what we had envisioned for our Tuscan experience. It was very easy to reach by car and well-positioned for day trips to Florence (we drove to Empoli and easily took the train into the city), Pisa/the coast, Vinci and others. A grocery store is conveniently located about 5 minutes away. Kitchen very well-stocked with pots, pans and utensils for cooking. Swimming pool was a lovely extra and had the best view of all! Our host, Simone, could not have been more accommodating. Sent us a comprehensive brochure about the property and nearby restaurants, etc., and was available via What's App when we had questions. We easily checked in and out with the code to a masterlock at the gate to the property that contained the keys to the house and a fob for the gate. The rental is the back portion of a larger home divided into apartments, but it is designed perfectly to maximize privacy and quiet--we never saw another person our entire stay. The parking is private and separate from that for the other residents, and the yard and patios are well-enclosed by shrubbery and vines that keep the entire area private. Very thoughtfully designed. Perfect place to be!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is very welcoming and the owners are very sweet and helpful. There is a local market just down the street, many tourist destinations nearby and the scenery that the villa sits in is breathtaking. We will recommend this location to anyone!

Zeer mooi huis maar 'drie badkamers' en 'vier kamers' is wat overdreven. Er is te weinig privacy wanneer je het met 6 personen gaat bewonen. 2 x 2 maximaal. Prachtige ligging. Voorzieningen niveau in Lamporecchio beperkt. Geen tussentijdse schoonmaak&schoon linnengoed.

Großartig! Nette Zimmer mit ausreichender Einrichtung, tolle Terrrasse, Küche/Grillplatz, Pool mit Liegemöglichkeiten, eigener Autoabstellplatz – wie beschrieben und daher äußert zufrieden! Netter Vermieter, italienische Sprachkenntnisse hilfreich. Kann sehr gerne empfohlen werden! Reisetipps: Was soll ich sagen? Toskana spricht für sich. Lage für Besichtigungen ideal, Tagesausflüge in alle Richtungen leicht möglich (Siena, Florenz, Pisa usw.). Supermarkt in der Nähe, Restaurants in der nahen Kleinstadt. Autobahn bzw. Schnellstraße gut erreichbar.

The house was comfortable once we had the heat on. Simone was very accommodating and spoke perfect English. Beautiful views of the countryside, very quiet and serene. We had been under the impression there were washer and dryer, but there was only a washer. There was no bathroom soap or shampoo or any amenities like that, so be sure to take your own. Our early April stay was a bit cool, but still we enjoyed the amazing Italian hospitality and landscape.
