This property exceed my expectations. Clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. We had time to enjoy the patio and pool in the evening. Thanks to the owner, I will certainly try to line this property for my future visits.

The Desert Retreat was a great place to stay for our 5 days in Surprise. It was very clean and adequately supplied with pots, pans, dishes, etc. It was a great location and close to shopping and grocery stores. The heated pool was a plus as so many rentals had pools without heat. I would recomment this property for your stay in the Surprise/Phoenix area.

Great location, great home, nice and clean, and very responsive and friendly host.

The house was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and had a good time with our family. We were concerned about the pool service guy showing up at 6:30 am. We were sleeping and he woke us up and scared us as he was right outside the master. It would have been nice if we were informed in advance.

House was very clean and centrally located in Surprise in a very quiet neighborhood. Backyard was very private and pool was clean.

This home had everything we needed for our week-long stay in Surprise. The house was comfortable and well-equipped. The property owner was a prompt communicator. We would stay at this home again and recommend it 100%!

Excellent value. Spacious, clean, well appointed. The pool was well maintained. No need for a heater for the pool this tine of year. Enjoyed the retro arcade game console as well

We had a wonderful time! The house was clean, comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. The only suggestion would be more pots and pans and kitchen towels.

Everything was as listed. The host was very quick to communicate. Check in and check out was very easy, this was a great location and we hope to stay here again.

I would have given 5 stars but the outside patio furniture is definitely in need of replacement. The chairs are very uncomfortable & hard to sit in. This location was perfect. We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property in Surprize, AZ. Everything was great! The property was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is safe, clean and very welcoming. Communication with the host was great. We highly recommend this property. Thank you very much.

This house is perfect for traveling with active kids! We stayed for 5 nights and each kids had their very own room (used the den as a bedroom too!) This was perfect for sleeping, but also for a little bit of down time after running around all day! We were excited to see board games and handful of toys and books too. We didn't even end up using them, but was nice to have the option.The kitchen has everything you need and it was very convenient to have a washer and dryer with pods already there to use when needed.The pool was warm and nice and clean. I was great to have some pool toys there too! The king bed was amazingly comfortable.The house is tucked back in a corner, so there was no traffic driving by and it felt very private. The location was also perfect. Super close to multiple grocery stores and quick restaurant options. The only complaint was that it needed a little upkeep - For example, burned out light bulbs in multiple rooms, dirty carpet and a stinky, dirty mop in the broom closet. But, those things didn't matter much in the end. It just seemed like lots of families had enjoyed it!

This property worked perfectly for our family reunion and to attend spring training games. The house is in a nice neighborhood, has a well-equipped kitchen, nice laundry facility, and an extra game room/office that could be used for additional sleeping space. There are no chest of drawers in the bedrooms, but we managed. Luggage racks and additional hangers in each room would be helpful. Our only real issue was that the freezer wasn’t working well so we didn’t have much ice and it wouldn’t keep food completely frozen. We ate out a lot, so it wasn’t a big issue for us. When we did notify the owner, they were very quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this location Very good communication with owner/manager. Would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

Layout of home and location ideal for a family with children or visiting grandparents having grandchildren visiting. There are activities there that would interest all ranges.We could not have had a better host. Sonja answered any question within minutes.

Good location. Had issues with door key pad. Got locked out for 30 min had to call host for help. Pool was really dirty and not warm so couldn’t use it.

Location with easy access to the local freeway, groceries. Cozy for the down times inevitable in a longer stay.

We enjoyed this house and our stay. Plenty of room and lots of options for beds! We do wish there were more towels, blankets, and garbage bags (only had one for 4 days for 4 adults and 4 kids) but we made it work. Kids enjoyed the pool but we found the floaties a day late. Arcade games were a hit!
