Desert Eden – Midcentury Pool Oasis

Very cozy, clean home. Close to airport, downtown, grocery.

Perfect mid-century modern in the heart of Palm Springs was well suited for a week long stay with our pup. Fabulous pool. Great amenities. Chic modern design. Will become our regular spot to stay in Palm Springs.

The property managers were very responsive. The best appointed kitchen that we have ever had. Great location.

Overall very great. Had everything you needed need in the house. Beautiful property and area. A few suggestion include the following screens on doors should close and lock. Small bath shower is hard to use without getting wet. Would like to turn on alarm at night when at the property. The spa remote is missing function details and it never headed up. Hammock is set too low to use. Wonderful place to stay. Awaiting to hear about cost I paid for the heat that did not seem to work

Stunning property. Well located, within minutes of downtown but far enough away to be a tranquil retreat. Acme did an amazing job refreshing the property while respecting its architectural heritage. Immaculately clean both inside and the exterior grounds and pool. Well kept designer/architectural furnishings. Amazingly responsive customer service via online portal and text. Couldn't ask for more, and already dreaming of when I can come back next!

We stay in Palm Springs every year, and this house and location was far and away our favorite yet! Very clean and well appointed with all the comforts you'd need: fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, fast WiFi, gorgeous pool, hot tub, and landscaped yard. Can't wait to book a return trip to Desert Eden!

We’ve stayed at one other Acme property before, but when booking this trip the other home wasn’t available so we went with Desert Eden. It did not disappoint! It was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood just down the street from the main drag of Palm Springs. It was close to an Albertson’s grocery store which made it easy to stock the house with food and beverages instead of hauling them with us in the car. The home itself was clean, spacious and cozy. It had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all were great sizes and equipped with everything one would need. Every room had a sliding glass door that went to the backyard, which was equally as nice as the inside of the home. The pool was heated to a perfect 85 degrees. The backyard had a BBQ, fire pit, and a hammock. The lounge chairs were next to umbrellas and there was an outdoor dining table mostly in the shady area of the yard which provided an amazing breakfast location. At the end of the trip we decided Desert Eden is our new favorite Acme home, but I have a feeling if we stayed at another property we could easily be enamored with yet another “favorite” Acme house.

The outdoor setting was lovely: beautiful pool, nicely furnished, very warm spa and fire pit. We had sun almost all day long and great view of the mountains. The home has all the amenities you need: fully stocked kitchen, outdoor barbecue, flat screen TVs in family room and all bedrooms. Remodeled bathrooms are small, but well done. All furnishings in tune with the era: very stylish but may not be the most comfortable. We found the sofa not very comfortable; but, beds were very comfortable. Great location and very close to downtown. Joshua Tree National Park less than an hour drive away. Management at Acme Property were extremely helpful. Home was very clean, especially during COVID. We will come back again!
