Delightful house with private pool and garden in the pretty village of Daglan

This house exceeded all of our expectations. Beautiful french decor and furniture inside. Three large bedrooms. Beds lovely and comfy. Beautiful clean and large pool. Beautiful patio furniture to chill on with a glass of wine. We took our jack russell and fence around property was 100 % dog proof. We absolutely loved it here. Thank you

The house is located at the centre of a very pretty village with good amenities and 3 places to eat including a lovely Michelin rated restaurant. We felt at home and enjoyed the garden and pool. The house was a little dated but had everything we needed. The weather was very hot and despite excellent fans the bedrooms really could do with air conditioning or mosquito netting to allow windows to be left open at night. The stairs were a little tricky when carrying luggage and we were surprised that we had to make up the beds with the linen provided on arrival. We had a problem on arrival logging on to the WiFi but our host was very responsive and came in person to sort it out. Overall a great stay and we recommend this property.

La Poche is in an ideal location in the pretty village of Daglan. Sunday market, restaurants, small supermarket, and a boulangerie. The house is down a little lane behind the market square. The house is really pretty with good space around it. Our first impression was good. Unfortunately the garden and kitchen are a little tired and need some updating. Fencing and gate broken with nails exposed. Oven and hood dirty with broken panel under the cooker. The pool pump broke and took a week to be fixed but we were still able to use the lovely pool. Garden furniture shows some wear and tear and needs replacing for next season. We contacted the agent who fixed the pool and replaced a chair and vacuum and kindly provided a further fan as it was on the 40s the week we arrived. Unfortunately the agent was not helpful with regards to the other items that need maintenance. We would certainly visit again if the property receives some maintenance.

Perfect place to stay. Property is clean and outdoor area is amazing surrounded by beautiful countryside. We loved our stay here and the short walk into Daglan where there is a choice of 3 restaurants to eat in. It is a short drive to a number of fantastic places to visit in the stunning Dordogne region. We’ll be back!!

Lovely pool and comfortable house, although needs a little updating.

Perfect location in a beautiful village but also private and adjacent to woodland. Excellent base for visiting Domme, Sarlat, Beymac etc. the restaurant in the village ‘Le Petit Paris’ was excellent and also allowed the dog to join is. Thouroughly recommend this lovely property

We had a really brilliant week here, the location is beautiful and convenient for this lovely area of France and it's a real bonus that the boulangerie and shop are so close by to get fresh pastries and bread each morning. The outside area and pool were our favourite bits, it's just so peaceful and the pool is a really good size. We would love to come back some day ☺️

The villa was wonderful and the pool and garden made the holiday for us. Perfect location - not overlooked yet a two minute walk to the boulangerie, 8-8 and two excellent restaurants. We enjoyed some great days out in this beautiful area and would come again at the drop of a hat. Highly recommended
