Delightful and Quaint 3BR/2BA Ybor Bungalow

Very clean, walkable distance to downtown Ybor, loved the old pics of downtown Ybor on display. Owner left many suggestions of local dining that made it easy to pick something for everyone! Beds comfortable and beautifully decorated too!

After a couple initial issues with the Internet and TV remotes, everything went smoothly. I'm an Ybor City resident and only stayed here for a couple days, while I was getting major plumbing work done, but the location was great (not far from the main strip), and the house & WiFi worked out well for the job interview I had. I liked the bedroom with the attached bathroom and the Fire TV was nice. Overall comfy and peaceful.

This was a great place to stay - location was where we wanted to be, home was clean and decorated well, easy parking and access to home.

I had to request check-in information multiple times and did not get the information until I got off my plane, which was certainly unnerving. I really would have preferred to have confirmation of how to get into my rental prior to arriving in Tampa. Additionally, my check-in time was 4:00. I arrived at about 5:45 to find who I think was the owner seemingly making a repair in a bathroom. This person never came out of the bathroom to greet or say anything more to us so we left and returned later. Finally, the hot water and heat did not work. This was particularly problematic since temperatures were as low as in the 40s this weekend. The house was very cute and the price was reasonable but the experience overall was not what I expected.

The house was super clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Great location for cigar aficionados and convenient to lots of restaurants. We needed a place to stay overnight before a cruise and this was perfect. Beds were comfortable, water pressure in showers was great. The only time communication lagged was when we asked where the washer and dryer were (they are located in an outside door with a key code lock). So we had to Wait until it was dark to do our laundry which wasn’t ideal but it worked. Overall great stay!

Cute rental and in a great location. Only a 10 minute drive to the convention center where we spent most of our time. Walking distance to restaurants in Ybor.

The host was very responsive, however there were several items that could have been improved. Not particularly clean when we arrived. Food items on the floor in 2 different rooms( that we never had, so not possibly from our party). Spilled shampoo in main bathroom on window sill. A box of Kleenex would have been nice. No tissue available. Had to mess with the entrance code several times as the directions given weren’t complete. A couple of bottles of water would have been nice. Not really an extra blanket available if you wanted/needed it.

The location was perfect for our quick over night stop! Clean and well stocked. Mattresses could use to be updated as 2 of them rolled into the middle. Water presser was less than stellar, but there was plenty of warm water.

Convenient and great location

House was cute. Served its purpose. Clean and nice decorations. Air conditioning worked good. Kitchen had everything you need. However, It did not have a washing machine and dryer which I thought would have. Neighborhood is loud at night especially on the weekends. Nice easy walk to historic Ybor City. Not really a family friendly place though. Better for young adults 21. All in all good experience.

Host was incredibly responsive both before and during the stay. The property is exactly as pictured. Clean comfortable and was perfect for us. We enjoyed our stay there.

This little bungalow is in a convenient location near Ybor close to the Columbia Restaurant. The neighborhood itself it a little bit more rundown than we were expecting. There is some train noise from the nearby train tracks as well. The inside of the house looks exactly like the photos. We had a couple of issues, the first was the with the shower in the master bedroom. The indicator for hit water on the shower is wrong, if you turn it towards the H its actually cold water. Turning it the other way did give hit water. The second was a sewer like smell when we returned from being out. We weren't sure where it was coming from but had to open the windows in the kitchen to air it out. The host was very communicative the whole time. Overall our stay was great with a few small issues.

Please disregard any poor reviews regarding the location of this house. We sat out on the porch every night and never felt unease. Being from the East Bay Area in Norcal, we know when a area is bad. This isnt it. It is the perfect location for walking to 7th Ave which we did every night. The house was perfect for our needs. We did not cook other than breakfast as preferred to eat out at the many wonderful options. Our Columbia dinner was special. Just a couple streets over was the easy route up to the freeway so we were able to be on the beach and golf course in no time. Absolutely recommend the free trolley which was a 10 min walk from the house. Room were cozy and beds were fine. I am particular about beds and really had no issues sleeping in the main room. Will 100% look to rent this house again next time!

The house was perfect for us. We needed a place we were close to attractions and walking distance to Ybor for entertainment. Although it was cool at night with the air conditioning it did get warm in one of the bedrooms. I would recommend an additional standing or floor fan but otherwise again this was the perfect place for our group.

We had a good stay. It was clean enough, equipped with what we needed, and served its purpose well. The location is definitely a highlight, close and and easy walk to the Ybor Historic District with plenty of nightlife nearby. It was peaceful enough for what we needed, and the front porch was nice to hang out on. Kitchen had the basics, the common areas worked well, AC and wifi were reliable.As with most BnB-style homes, there were a few quirks, the ceiling fan, for example, was a little questionable but nothing that took away from the overall experience.I didn't see a washer and dryer as listed in the amenities, but we also didn't need that and didn't ask.If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-situated place that gives you a true local feel, this spot works great.

The VRBO was nice, just a few minor defects: there a was a bulb out in the bathroom in the master bedroom, the water pressure in the shower in the master bathroom was low, and the hot and cold indicators for the shower and sink in the master bathroom were reversed. One last thing is to detail where the washer and dryer are located. These are just minor things that definitely do not draw away from how nice this VRBO is.

Adorable place and extremely convenient to everything. The only suggestions that I have are: thermal blackout curtains for the 2nd bedroom as it gets extremely hot in the afternoon, ceiling or stand alone fan for the other two bedrooms and at least one full sized mirror.Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again when we visit again.

never received code to get in. Tried reaching owner several times no response. Neighborhood was not good. I have a real problem with this property not being representative of what is on line. Had to book another place to stay at the last minute did not feel safe for my family at this location. Someone please please reply to me. Never used this property and do not want to pay. VRBO needs to let people know this place is not safe

We had a blast on our little trip. The outside could use a little up keep but the inside was perfect!. I'd sure stay here again.

Nice stay but needs maintenance specially the main bathroom, drainage stinks

Hosts should be required to submit pix from the outside of the home because this would have made a difference in choosing this home. Yes, its in the YBOR district but the street it was on in YBOR and the properties surrounding it made it an uncomfortable stay. The house across the street is a crash house, there is an abandoned garage or home next door and some kind of repair shop business directly across. Inside the home there were mouse droppings in the sofa, on the floors and ants on the shower curtain and kitchen window seals. The house had a stale smell. This house needs attention badly. The porch and siding on this house needs repair. We were mortified when we pulled up and slept with a chair against the door each night. The one positive was the close proximity to what we needed in YBOR but we would never stay here again.
