Deck & Pool Access: Long Island Village Escape!

This property was nice and quiet. Secure neighborhood as well. Would definitely stay there again!

Love the shower! Loved the decor. Loved it for the most part. Only concern to me was the glass door doesn't lock,other than that everything was lovely.

Not our first time at this neighborhood. Loved the rental. Quiet and well insulated.Very big shower that we will be duplicating at our home. We will be back.

Enjoyed spending a few days in this tiny home in the Long Island Village retirement community. It was exactly what I expected.

My husband and I did a quick weekend vacay and found this home online. It was the perfect place for us & had everything we needed and more! Having a full size fridge, a full bathroom, living room and kitchen was more than we are used to when traveling. So it was great and it was so well priced as well. We will more than likely be coming back!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The rental was just as described and very convenient for the activities we had planned. We especially enjoyed the roomy shower and washer and dryer. The host was responsive to our inquiries, as well.

The place was what it stated in the add, but there is an extra fee for ammenities, and the stated fee is wrong. I talked to the office where you pay the fee, they told me the price increase was 2 years ago and they have never changed the ad. I tried to go thru VRBO and they would not help or refund the difference. I was also charged a fee at the office for using a credit card, and was not told that they were adding a credit card fee. I would've paid with a different method. There were plenty of things in the house to make it homey such as spices, small appliances and basic things necessary to make cooking easy. The contact person was VERY nice, easy to get ahold of and answered questions quickly!!

My husband and I had a lovely relaxing stay at LIV in Port Isabel. It was a relaxing time. We found the home was comfortable and provided everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed going for walks, using the indoor pool (it was cool during our stay so we couldn’t use the outdoor facility which looked lovely). The short drive into port Isabel for shopping was easy. A couple of days we drove over the big bridge to visit South Padre Island to see the gulf and beach and dunes. I will stress that this was a relaxing trip, the house wasn’t fancy but comfortable. There wasnt much to do there but we found that to be helpful in our attempt to do nothing! One of the places on the canal would have been nice to have a view .. no view from this place but that’s ok! The golf course is very small and we didn’t bring any clubs to try it out. Not sure how easy it would be been to book. Overall a nice place to stay.

I want to first say the location was lovely and the house was as described. The communication with the host was good. The gated community was nice. HOWEVER, READ THE FINE PRINT! There is an very high pet fee (albeit poorly expressed in the listing). When paying on VRBO, there is a relatively expensive Host fee, I don't know what this means, but it just make the nightly rate more expensive. This is an unnecessary tax to the renter. Also, when checking into the resort, you HAVE to pay another non-refundable fee to check into the property. Again, a taxing fee to the resort that is not easily seen when renting the property. (Please note, the rate was greater than listed in the VRBO listing. This is obscenely excessive cost in VERY poorly disclosed fees. So please be attentive before checking into this property to avoid unnecessary taxes. My girlfriend and I didn't even use the resort amenities so we didn't get to use any of those amenities which made those fees wasted money for us. I'm not mad about the fees because, technically, they were listed on the property but not well at all. And I should have been more attentive so I hope future renters will be as well.

What an amazing stay and town!! Found this gem on the whim. Very reasonable price and the owner was fantastic to work with. Loved the house !! Can’t wait to go back !!! Such friendly people on the neighborhood ! Wake up early and go for a walk and hear the coyotes in a distance and see the beautiful sunrise! Wow what an amazing stay !!
