Day Dreamer - 30A, Heated Private Pool with Cabana, Rooftop Fire Pit!

This house is as advertised. Spacious, beautiful pool, fully stocked kitchen, wonderful outdoor covered entertaining space, conveniently located to the beach and restaurants and shopping. Management was wonderful; allowed us to checkinIn earlier than expected and made checkout easy. The following stopped this from being a 5: the beds been very uncomfortable-like sleeping on cots. All our backs hurt. The oven is a pain to use and we were unsuccessful getting the pilot to light to in order to use 80% of the time. We wasted many groceries because of this. The ice maker doesn’t really work, it produced maybe 10 cubes overnight.

We were initially disappointed bc pool couldn’t be heated but God worked it out like we needed. The house was so fabulous…best trip to seaside so far. Coy at Ocean Reef was beyond helpful! He made sure we felt at home and if i could rate him it would be more than 5 !!! Exceptional hospitality by Coy. We will be back!

It’s a great house and location, really close to restaurant and beach access. We were able to check in early and management was really helpful.

The property was clean and well-maintained. The pool was a wonderful experience as well as the rooftop fire pit. Two issues we had were with cockroaches and keeping the air temperature balanced. The property management team was very responsive when we had issues and overall we had a very nice stay.

A wonderful house and a nice and quiet revelation

Absolutely beautiful property! Great location and perfect setup for my daughter's 15th birthday party! However, upon check-in last month, the property was FAR from rental ready, as if it had not been occupied in several months: Hot water didn't work No Internet No network connection on TV once internet repaired Broken dryer Non-working master TV Screws in driveway (which I ran over 1 upon arrival and immediately had a flat tire within 2 hours) Though each concern was addressed over the 9 days we spent at the property, it required a significant amount of time remaining at the property for Ocean Reef to arrive EACH DAY for timely repairs. Not the way I was hoping to spend my daughter's Spring Break / Birthday celebration with friends and fam. Most repairs required multiple trips, techs, and time! Upstairs TV had to be completely replaced over the span of 3 days. The dryer was never fixed despite 4 attempts by 3 different techs. They finally gave up. Traveling with a group of 10 girls and not having the use of a washer/dryer over 9 days was definitely a problem! When I spoke with property management to share my frustrations upon my return, their respone was 'breakers go out', 'tv's go out', 'you had 4 other tv's to watch'. The reason we gave you the 1% (yes, ONE %) refund was for the non-working dryer. I am hoping the owners of the property see this review and find a different property management company.

Paid extra fee of $525 to heat pool. Worked 1-2 days at most but because we did not call every day it didn't work - only refunded for 2 days, even after one point being told I would be refunded for the amount of days it didn't work. My fault I guess for not calling every day it didn't work. We had 3 different service calls but last Pool man said filters needed replacing which prevented proper heating.Queen bed broken in bunk room. Told to put mattress on floor. Fixed last night of stay so again no refund or even apology. In fact told since the bed was fixed on the last night it was no longer a problem. Dirty pans in cabinets that had to be washed before use. Ocean Reef management company was very polite responding to problems but never acknowledged that these were not small inconveniences but impacted the quality of trip and the value of the property. We rented this property because of the amount of beds and a heated pool. They ignored the fact we had to sleep on the floor for 6 nights. Only got 2 days of pool refund after many phone calls and was really not enough.Even splitting the pool fee would have gone a long way.Have rented many times before. I don't expect things not to happen but when they happen and can't be fixed it does impact the overall experience of the trip. Property well located and is nice but with so many nice properties in the area I would never choose this one again or any home managed by this company.

Day Dreamer was a great place to stay for 10 days during Christmas with our family. Seaside is a great location and 10 minute walk. The kitchen was very well stocked and we ate most of our meals there. The rooftop fire pit was a great bonus to cook s’mores, unfortunately only did once as nights were cool. Highly recommend

Beautiful house, with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms in the house, and one full bathroom in the pool house. Excellent kitchen appliances and very well stocked. The room with the bunk beds is reached through one of the bedrooms. The pool house has a closet full of pool and beach toys. I would definitively go again.

We had a phenomenal stay at the Day Dreamer. We especially loved making smores at the rooftop fire pit! The living room is more spacious than it appears -we seated 6 adults and a toddler comfortably with room to spare. The proximity to the beach is ideal, as well as to Seaside, Watercolor, and Publix
