Lovely place. On the listing I thought it stated a pool, however it was not

We had a wonderful stay in the loveliest neighborhood of Tampa. The house provided everything we needed and the host was very attentive.

My husband and I traveled to Tampa so we could watch MLB spring training games and this home was in the perfect location between the ball parks in Lakeland and Fort Myers. The house is in a quiet and well kept neighborhood and was only a 10 minute walk to the Davis Island Village where there are several restaurants and bars. It is also very close to the Tampa cruise port and we were able to watch the cruise ships sail out of port on Sunday afternoon while we sat in the park that was across from the airport on the island. We also enjoyed walking through the neighborhood in the evening. This home is one of the quaint smaller homes nestled in among the large new modern homes, but it had everything we needed for our week long stay. The inside is very bright, clean, and comfortable with newer appliances and furniture. The kitchen had plenty of dinnerware, pots & pans, and utensils for cooking. It also has a nice Keurig coffee pot/single serve combo machine. There is a nice backyard with a no-step patio, tables and chairs, and nice grass. One afternoon we pulled the table and chairs to the shade and played a few games of Yahtzee. The front of the house also has table and chairs on a paved patio that is also a nice spot to enjoy lunch or dinner. The bed was very comfortable and there is ample closet and drawer space for a week or longer stay. The washer and dryer were full size.We loved our stay and would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the Tampa area!

House was very clean, bright and comfortable. Used the patios every day. Loved the location. Hope to stay again.

We’ve stayed in VRBO’s for over 15 years and this home has to be the cleanest we have found! The fact that it is located on Davis Islands, is within walking distance to the waterfront and restaurants makes it even better! While McMansions are springing up everywhere on the Island this is a tastefully remodeled original cottage with a private backyard and an enclosed front patio. Everything we needed was included, even a tea kettle! We spent 2 weeks exploring the Island and its businesses. We didn’t have a bad meal but Spartaco’s Kitchen was our favorite. Check in was easy and the owners responded quickly to questions. All n all a perfect 2 weeks!

DI is a kind of retreat in the heart of Tampa. You're centrally located to everything urban, but you're also on this safe little island community.Being aware of what kind of hit Davis Islands took during the hurricanes of 2024, the house is in remarkable shape.My wife and I were there will our 16-year old son. The house was a comfortable space for the 3 of us. We especially appreciated both a front patio and back patio allowed outdoor options depending on the sun.Our hosts the Guzmans stocked the place with treats and drinks that also were very appreciated! Definitely would stay there again!

Attending a conference in Tampa, we were looking for accommodation on Davis Island for two people. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable and inviting with modern and well-appointed amenities. Its proximity to a cafes and restaurants made it a perfect choice.

Home was very clean and bright with lots of natural light. Very nice quiet neighborhood. Hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Home had all the things you needed for comfortable stay.

This is the first part of a two part review. We originally booked for two weeks and then extended another two weeks which created a separate booking. This property was wonderful and the owners fantastic. They had a sweet welcome basket ready for my parents when they arrived. Home was clean, bright and cheerful and exactly what we were looking for! Highly recommend.

We rented this sweet little home for my elderly parents for the last month as they have been displaced by their home being flooded. We wanted to have them near us and this was a block away. The owners were so kind and answered and addressed anything we asked. It was perfect, bright and cheery. We would rent it again in a heartbeat! In fact, if it wasn't already booked we would have stayed longer! Thank you again!
